This year I discovered , Ghost Walk (Harrison Investigation, #2) by Heather Graham and just loved her. I've been on a voracious hunt for her books, and have read several already. Which I will stick with. Always The Vampire Lestat (The Vampire Chronicles, #2) by Anne Rice , Club Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #3) by Charlaine Harris and a host of others.

However I also look out for new authors, and found this one. And started reading her series. T.B.M.D Arieanna's Legend (#1) by Alexandria Infanté

I saw some post for this author, and thought I'd do some research on her. She doesn't have many reviews on here or amazon, but thought I'd read it anyway. I can honestly say I am liking her stuff.

I was pleasantly surprised, there's action, steamy romance, and I've always liked myths. I'm on book 9 Cycles of Change; All Hell Breaking Loose (#9) by Alexandria Infanté , each book introduces a new myth.

Elishia | 2620 comments LK and Susan ( or anyone else that knows) what era are these books and are they even the same era? Ruthless (The House of Rohan, #1) by Anne Stuart and Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger

I don't think they're in the same era. Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger is Victorian. I thought Rohan was supposed to be Regency (I haven't read it yet)

message 1861: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments Lol oh ok I don't have a clue about anything historical. I find historical's hard to read but liked both of these so wondered if it was because of the era they were set in.

message 1862: by Kit★ (new)

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments I think Ruthless is Georgian era, 1700s. Haven't read it yet, but it's on my TBR pile :)

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments I'm working on A Wallflower Christmas (Wallflowers, #5) by Lisa Kleypas as this series was a wonderful new find for me this year, and I figured the holiday 're-visit' would be nice since it's Christmas time :)

Elishia, I don't know about Ruthless - but I think Kit★ is right - it is Georgian. However, Soulless is definitely Victorian.

I have to agree, Carrie. After finishing To Catch an Heiress (Agents of the Crown, #1) by Julia Quinn a couple of days ago, I want to read all her stuff.

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'm reading The Lion's Daughter (Scoundrels, #1) by Loretta Chase and honestly am having a hard time getting into it. The main character's bickering is starting to get on my nerves. And it's not even flirty-buildup-the-sexual-tension kind of bickering/banter. It's grumpy bickering...at least to me it is ;)

I stopped after number 4 in that series, ShoSho....those are the only Kristen Ashley heroines I absolutely can't stand. They are all way TSTL and just make no sense to me with their decisions on what to do. I also hate how they always have some side thing going with the hero of the next book in the series.
