Well not really it's a chick lit in first POV .She is a chef and she goes through what she is cooking and sometimes even how much of the ingredient to use . So yes probably you actually could cook the stuff because she explains everything.

This is the first book I'm reading from this author .

Rachel the Book Harlot I finished The Bronze Horseman (Tatiana and Alexander, #1) by Paullina Simons . Good Lord, I feel like I've been through a war; I'm emotionally spent. There was a lot of ugly crying during the last few chapters. And I mean ugly! LOL!! Glad you loved it, Rachel! And can you ever really bawl like a baby over a book you don't love? As much as not everyone loves angsty books, I think the first one was just beautiful.

message 1831: by Lina (last edited Dec 02, 2012 04:21PM) (new)

Lina | 5563 comments I have completely ignored the books I was supposed to be reading this weekend and poured myself into Captive in the Dark (The Dark Duet, #1) by C.J. Roberts and Seduced in the Dark (The Dark Duet, #2) by C.J. Roberts . VERY dark and edgy erotica, with non-consent scenes and a captive / slave storyline so I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but for those who don't mind grit in their erotica, I recommend this author's writing style.

Now I've got to try and catch up with the books I was supposed to have been reading this weekend. Oops.

Rachel the Book Harlot OMG You Guys, I loved it so much!!! Carob, you are so right! Honestly, I think it's one of the most amazing stories I've ever read. That was the very definition of love in every single way. Please, I'll start crying again. haha!
