Forged in Ice has been written and I thought it was supposed to be published in early 2013, but I'm not sure about that.

That sounds like something I'd love! Has the whole series been good so far Gisela? Or is this the best of the bunch?

I've only read the 2nd and 3rd. I liked them both. In the second one the hero was a bit of a douche and I felt that he should have grovelled a bit more. I adored the hero of the 3rd book!

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Yeah, I like it when they do the appropriate amount of groveling. LOL!

message 1756: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I had to put Red by Kate Kinsey on pause to try and finish up a few challenge books for October. So I have picked it back up again.

This book so far is sooooo good.

message 1764: by Rachel the Book Harlot (last edited Nov 04, 2012 10:19AM) (new)

Rachel the Book Harlot I just finished Some Kind of Magic by Theresa Weir by Theresa Weir, which was a strange and guirky contemporary romance. The H and h were very eccentric (well every character was really) and it totally worked. I really liked it.

Now I'm reading The Demon in Me (Living in Eden, #1) by Michelle Rowen by Michelle Rowen, which is a very funny PNR filled with supernaturals. I haven't read a good PNR is such a long time so this was a nice surprise. I'm about 50% in and so far I'm really liking it.

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I'm reading Forever and Always by Jennifer McNare for review.

message 1766: by Elishia (last edited Nov 04, 2012 11:39AM) (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments Jenny i'm the same it really annoys me because I know if I force myself to read it i'll end up giving it a low rating.

I'm reading Blameless (Parasol Protectorate, #3) by Gail Carriger for a challenge and just started Worlds Apart by Barbara Elsborg which I probably should of waited to read because I know i'm going to like it, although I didn't realise it was paranormal.

message 1767: by [deleted user] (new)

@Elishia - I LOVED Worlds Apart. One of my favs!!

Read Hard Tail by J.L. Merrow << look at the smut-free cover! Doesn't look like something I'd read, huh? LOL

Reading Shadow (New Species, #9) by Laurann Dohner now, which will be my first "series clean-up" book for the Nov. challenge. :)

They are a bit slow and descriptive but I usually like small town stories , these 3 are prequels to the virgin river series and have the same heroine. They are feel good kind of book with a little mystery and romance ,just a tiny bit!

message 1779: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I'm reading Cowboy Heat (Hell Yeah!, #1) by Sable Hunter . So far very cheesy with lines like "I want to see your joystick"

message 1780: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I'm glad it was a freebie, because as I'm laughing at the cheese I'm shaking my head thinking, did I just read that, lol.
