I just ordered the 4th one. Honestly, I haven't liked Hart very much through all the books, so I'm anxious to see if the author can turn him around for me.

I have tried different books but I haven't passed the dedication page in any of them . I'll listen to an audio book and after that I'll see if I can get in to reading!

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'll let you know what I think about it, shosho. As for your reading slump, when I get into one of those, I let random.org pick my next read. It takes the expectation of what you think you may want to read out of it.

message 1228: by Lina (last edited Aug 29, 2012 05:29AM) (new)

Lina | 5563 comments Just finished Wild Man (Dream Man, #2) by Kristen Ashley , a book I was not supposed to be reading yet, but can' seem to stay away from Kristen Ashley this month.
I'm enjoying the audiobook of Rapture in Death (In Death, #4) by J.D. Robb but I find it hard to get into for any length of time. This is mostly because during the day I have the kids wanting my attention or at night, I'm tired and listening to it puts me to sleep. I had it on earphones for a little while tonight while I was cooking dinner, but kids kept interrupting me. So, I don't think it's audiobooks, I think it's just my life :-)

Strangely enough, when the kids see me with a book or kindle in hand, they don't interrupt as much.

message 1229: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments My kids are the same way, CaroB! If I have a book or Braxton, they're hesitant to disturb me (it could be cause I get exasperated with them when I'm reading LOL), but if I'm listening...it's like it's no big deal to interrupt me.

message 1230: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments What's a Braxton, Susan?

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 718 comments I am currently reading: Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter, #2) by Nalini Singh . For some reason I'm having a hard time getting into it.... I hope it picks up.

message 1241: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments I did, too, Hayley!

message 1242: by Hayley (new)

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 718 comments Yeah, I enjoyed the first one and wizzed right through it. But I don't know why I cannot get into this one. It makes me mad because I have so many other books at home that I want to start and I think that's also my problem LOL

message 1243: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments One thing that helped me was I listened to it on audio and it was the only thing I had downloaded to my iPod/Touch at the time...so I didn't have much choice. LOL!

message 1244: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments That happened for me with the second as well Hayley. And number 3 was worse!!! Luckily the series picked up again in an awesome way on the 4th book. I'm still hoping Illium will have his own book!

message 1245: by Hayley (new)

Hayley (mrsjohnson1985) | 718 comments Darn. I'm tempted to just put it down and not read it LOL...... But I guess I better just try and finish it. Last time I was sitting there reading the same sentences over and over.. Finally I gave up and went to bed!

message 1246: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments I usually love Nalini Singh, but I think she may have lost mojo with #2. It does pick back up though!! Hang in there :-)

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments Lol I had a blue pickup truck once, and I called it Blue, and my step-dad had a bigger blue truck, so it was Big Blue, and my uncle had a little blue s-10 so it was Little Blue. Lol. Didn't name my current car, don't have as much of an emotional attachment to it as I did that pickup truck... :D

This tickled me pink, Kit. Too cute! :)

So I finished Wolf Tracker (After the Crash #3) by Maddy Barone which was a really sweet paranormal romance and I really enjoyed it. I really liked Tracker, the Hero. I'm going to start Ashfall (Ashfall, #1) by Mike Mullin next, I think.

I really wanted to read The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Highland Pleasures, #1) by Jennifer Ashley but my library doesn't have it. I might have to shell out the $7.99, but it pains me. I hate that ebooks are so expensive. *sigh*

message 1250: by Kit★ (new)

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments I've got Ashfall on my To-Ponder list. And Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie has been on my want-list for a long time :D
