Rachel the Book Harlot GAH!! I thought Book 2 Fragments (Partials, #2) by Dan Wells was already released and was going to dl it only to find it's not being released until February 2013. NOOOOOOOOOOO! I can't wait until February. *rolls around on the floor screaming*

This is terrible. *weeps*

Me either. :( And yet, I do this to myself every time. I need a series intervention.

This book is really good though! I had a few minor quibbles but nothing that effected my enjoyment. Oh, but a word of warning, if you're going to read it, try to stay away from reviews that contain spoilers.

Now that I'm calmer, and able to pick up another book, I'm starting Feed (Newsflesh, #1) by Mira Grant by Mira Grant. This is also a trilogy but it's complete. *whew*

message 854: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments I don't the read reviews anyway I just look at the ratings, I don't like any spoilers :-).

I keep seeing that one a lot lately but the only Zombie book i've read was The Forest of Hands and Teeth (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #1) by Carrie Ryan .

Rachel the Book Harlot Elishia, I made an error about Partials being a trilogy. It's actually only a 2 book series, thankfully! :)

The Forest of Hands and Teeth (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #1) by Carrie Ryan looks really interesting. Did you like it?

message 856: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments Ooh that's even better then, i'll def wait for the next one to come out first.

Yes it was good but I read a few spoilers when I was deciding if to read it. I haven't read the next book because I heard its about 15 years later so not sure.

Holy crap, that's a huge jump. o.O

@ Jenny

Hearts of Darkness (Deadglass, #1) by Kira Brady seems really interesting, too. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

Finished With Abandon (With or Without, #4) by J.L. Langley . Loved it, and now have to (im)patiently wait for the next book. *pouts* Started More than Meets the Ink (Bowen, #1) by Elle Aycart this morning (book one of my August challenge!!).

message 859: by Elishia (last edited Aug 01, 2012 10:29AM) (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments @Rachel I know it put me off a bit.

Ha ha glad i'm not the only one waiting for them. I'll have to see what you think of the other book I have it on TBR list.

Reluctantly finished The Abandoned (Graveyard Queen #0.5) by Amanda Stevens really glad I did, i'm excited to read the rest now. And finished Glory in Death (In Death, #2) by J.D. Robb another great addition to the series.

Still working on More than Meets the Ink (Bowen, #1) by Elle Aycart . So far it's hot, but a little annoying. The author is often repetitive, and the protag is judgmental (with no real validation). That's a pet peeve of mine - when authors try to convince you a character is a certain way without solidly backing it with a reason. I'm hoping I just didn't get the full backstory yet. *fingers crossed*
