I read the first 2 last week, then finished my challenges for July before starting this one. I'll probably start on my August challenges before reading the next one ;)
@Susan - I'm at the point where it branches off into the Crimson something-or-other. Hmm...really need to get back to this series.

I don't know why !!being lazy I guess but been lurking for a while !A good way to find new books ;)
I wasn't impressed either(and knew it wouldn't be very good) but you see ,I wanted to read 4 5 and 6 in the series so I had to start the series from #1!
Have you read the Fever series? Some of the heroes in the highlander series make an appearance in there.KMM has some delicious heroes !

. I liked the book and I LOVED Bones, but I have lukewarm feelings about Cat. I think I'm too tough on my heroines! If I read the next it will be because of Bones.
Don't listen to the audiobooks of the Night Huntress series. I didn't think it was possible, but the narrator actually removes all of Bones' sexiness with the terrible voice she does for him. I think his voice is higher than hers.

Oh no! For some reason, I always imagine Spike, from Buffy, when I think of Bones' voice and accent...
It makes me laugh when I read the way they make Bones speak I always think I don't speak like that lol.

Bones is my major driving factor with these books. Book 2 is great, Book 3 is good...but it burned me out on the series. I've been reading them randoming since then. Still good, though.

It's like an Eliza Doolittle cockney accent on top of the squeakiness, too.......I just can't do it.On the flip side, I think the In Death series is best enjoyed in audio.....it is brilliantly done. Every single one of the voices/accents are spot on.
Ha ha ha Megan I actually know of someone that sounds exactly how you described.I find Rourke's accent really funny but think that's because the narrator already has an accent on top of the Irish one.
I actually like Bones' cockney accent, he sounds pretty cocky - and I love the way he says "Kit - ten" LOL! However, the In Death series is the best; Susan Ericksen deserves some type of metal. Nevertheless, Robert Petkoff is now doing the Immortals After Dark series, and he is so yummy he is giving her a run for her money.
I live in East London so that's quite a normal accent here.
The accent itself wouldn't be so bad if he didn't also sound like Mickey Mouse.

it was a bit silly sometimes and there were some mistakes with the characters ages , other than that I liked it !
I started
, not a big fan of the narration but I had to finish the series and the library had them on audio!!!
