"Maybe I'll push it out to the middle of the room. I think we need some jollyness in here." She said happily, smiling.
"Well, I think you're nice, just so you know. We don't date other people unless we all agree on it. That is, me... Brenton, James, Shane- who are brothers-, and Katherine. And Chris, sort of. Have you met Shane yet? He's my favorite, but you can't tell anyone."

"I haven't met Shane yet, no," she said, smiling. "And don't worry, I won't tell a soul." She supposed she should have been offended on Brenton's behalf that Abi didn't like Brenton the best, but it was no problem for Evangeline if she didn't have any competition from the girl. "Do you know when Brenton and Chris will be back?" Evangeline asked.
Abigail's eyes became more wide than they were normally, and her mouth formed a perfectly pink O. There was no way... No way at all.
She shook her head furiously and gave an outraged screech. "CHRIS IS HERE?!" She squealed, standing up and moving books to frantically peek through their back shelf and gasp. No one was there! "What are you talking about? Brenton is with Chris and they're alone? Why is no one telling me things, like new girlfriends and shady brothers visiting?!" Abigail asked Evangeline, her voice rising in tone, but not volume. She was never a truly loud girl, except for maybe when she laughed. She almost looked as if she was threatening to cry, but she wasn't that mad yet.

"Calm down, calm down!" Evangeline said, laughing just a little. "Brenton is taking Chris for a tour of the castle. Besides, Chris already walked in on me and Brenton this morning, um..." she stopped, and turned bright red, thinking about what they had been doing precisely when Chris turned up. "Anyway," she said, getting back to the subject. "You don't have to worry, they seem OK for the moment. I did offer to go with Brenton, but he seemed to want to be on his own with Chris for a while. Why else did you think I was so interested in Chris?" she asked, trying to distract Abigail from her near-panic.
Abigail took a few breaths, but it didn't calm her nerves. Chris and Brenton were together, and as amazing at that was, maybe, Abigail was very much hurt that no one seemed to care enough to tell her what was going on. Yes, she'd been a little wrapped up in her own problems lately, but she'd seen every single one of them just yesterday.
Ugh!!
Abigail shook her head, causing her hair to fly, and sat back down with a huff. "And you know that almost every time they find themselves alone, they get into a fist fight?" She informed Evangeline, furrowing her eyebrows. "Brenton usually looses, too." She said looking down at her dark purple tutu skirt, that paired quite nicely with the black top she wore, making her seem calmer and darker than she really was, but anyone who'd watched her for five minutes knew she did not show these colors.
She huffed again, this time with a pouty face, knowing she was probably freaking Evangeline out right now.

Evangeline sighed, and shifted so she was sitting next to Abigail. "I really hope that they get back soon," she said, trying not to muse over everything that could go wrong. Hopefully Chris would behave himself... and Brenton for that matter. Chris didn't seem that bad to her this morning - a bit arrogant, in a way, and nowhere as nice as Brenton. And of course, after hearing about what he'd done to Brenton, and Kat... In any case, hopefully they could both keep their temper long enough.

Being so consumed in the book as she was, Abigail not only fail to notice her boyfriend's arrival, but she also overlooked his near presence, sitting just a few chairs ..."
Xavier let his heavy book fall to the table but a loud thump, which was a loud noise in such a quiet environment.. he cocked his head to one side, wearing the cheekiest of grins, directing it at Abigail. He folded his arms and also raised an eyebrow, holding back a hearty laugh. He glance moved from Evangeline and then back to Abigail.
((Bam I love Xavier so much.))
Abigail was almost starting to cry, hearing Evangeline explain how things went that morning. Well, she guessed they had reasons then, for not telling her. It'd only happened hours ago, and Abigail hadn't seen Brenton yet this morning.
Glancing at Evangeline, she nodded her head slowly, but her pout still stayed on her face. "Well, I hope they come back soon too. No telling where Brenton might lock him in at... He did that to James once, in a Muggle church, because I and my cousins go to there with my aunt, and Brenton locked James in the girls bathroom... James later got into trouble for being in there, because it wasn't very 'pure' of him." She said, nodding.
"How long have you and Brenton know- Xavier!" Abigail squealed as a thump hit the table she was just sitting at a while ago. Xavier, looking just as handsome as he was when she lost him earlier that day. She jumped up and laughed. "Come meet Brenton's girlfriend!!!"

((Oh, don't we all ;) ))
Abigail giggled as she felt his hand encircle her waist. With everything that had gone on lately, this was not something they'd been able to do; just be romantic with each other. She really longed for that right now, but she was still worried about Chris.
She blushed wildly as she realized Evangeline was right here in front of them, and she pulled away faster from Xavier's kiss than she would've otherwise, hating herself a little. "Evangeline, this is my boyfriend, Xavier. He's friendly." She said, throwing her an apologizing look. She was all for public display affection, but not in front of near strangers. She didn't want Evangeline thinking she was some trollop.
She still stayed in Xavier's arms though, nestling her head on his chest, loving every second with a bright big smile on her face. Just from the look of them, one would know they were meant for each other despite the coolness Xavier seemed to exhibit compared to Abigail's extrovert bubblyness.

Abigail nodded pleasantly, smiling up at Xavier with such a happiness. "Sorry for what? Those stupid staircases are just meanies." Her smile was just as bright as the twinkling lights on her book Christmas Tree. "We made a tree and Chris is here, and you'd actually probably hate him, and Evangeline here is just amazing. She was dancing with Brenton last night, but I don't know if I told you about that."
((Becca! :D Come soon!))
((Becca! :D Come soon!))

Evangeline giggled helplessly at Xavier's carrying on and Abigail's chatter. She held her hand out for Xavier to shake, which was a little awkward around Abigail. "Nice to meet you, Xavier," she said politely. She paused awkwardly for a moment. "Um, yeah, sure you can take her..." She said, really hoping Brenton would be back soon- Xavier and Abigail together were making her miss him even more.
Abigail's eyes widened as Xavier pulled her away from Eangeline, but she did little to keep him from it, except say "Why are you being rude?"
Abigail was pulled away anyway, and she hoped Evangeline wouldn't feel bad for them leaving. She was becoming worried: Brenton and Chris, Evangeline, Katherine, and now Xavier needed to talk to her?
She turned on him, and wrapped her arms around his neck when they were alone, lifting to her tippy toes, so she was only a few inches away from his face, and just a few more inches shorter.
"What's wrong? Are we okay?" Abigail asked, her worry clear in her voice. They were just getting back to being wonderful with each other! Had she done something to ruin that?

Abigail rushed after Xavier. "No no, come back." She said, reaching for him. "I wasn't hiding here!" She said smiling. "I found myself here, and when I got tired of my book, which I was deeply into, by the way, I went back here to find red and green ones to build my tree... Xavier." She pleaded. "I wasn't ignoring you. I was crying because I couldn't find you, and of course I knew those stairs weren't your fault. What are jumping to conclusions for?" She asked softly, not wanting to upset him, but wanting to prove her point true.
((Becca, you wanna RP with my different charrie, or what's the plan?))

Abigail kissed him warmly, giggling at his affection. He was so cute, and she knew she was lucky to have him, even if he was worried at the moment.
"It's absolutely, perfectly wonderfully okay, Xavier. What were we even going to do?" She asked him, finding it funny that she couldn't remember. "Whatever it was, we can continue, or we can go... Somewhere private?" Abigail said, shrugging slightly and playing with the hair at the back of his neck. "Either way, we'll have to apologize to Evangeline. She's scared right now."

"It's absolutely, perfectly wonderfully okay, Xa..."
Xavier kissed her cheeks, holding her hand as they both strode over to Evangeline ''I'm so sorry, I just wanted to check something with Abigail'' he smiled, holding out his hand again to finish off their handshake but instead the parchment in her hand stole his attention. He glanced at her expression and she look pretty shaken up ''Are you alright?'' he raised an eyebrow, thinking that whatever was on that partchment had upset her.

Abigail came beside him, smiling pleasantly. "Sorry Evangeline... Why were you crying?" She asked, her voice high and concerned. She'd really loved to have hit it off with Evangeline, but now she was crying and Abigail was sure she'd ruined her chances at being friends with her best friends new girlfriend. Her pouty face returned, but she patted Evangeline on the shoulder in a comforting manor, not knowing if it was okay to hug her.

Xavier smiled awkwardly as he went and sat on the chair next to the one Evangeline was sitting on ''Who is this Brenton?'' he raised an eyebrow ''Could you fill me in?'' he chuckled, looking directly at Abigail.

((Gah, I haven't been very reliable lately, but I love you guys!))
Abigail rolled her eyes. She'd never really brought up Brenton. Just Shane or James and she could remember how jealous Xavier had gotten over them. She'd never meant not to tell Xavier about Brenton, but maybe her mind had just unconsciously chosen not to.
She didn't know.
"Brenton grew up with me and Katherine and the boys. I'm not sure why I hadn't brought him up before, but he'd not always been here like the boys." She told him, bouncing up and down slightly as she spoke, her hair bouncing brightly. "Evangeline is his newly found love." She said, smiling proudly, as if Evangeline was her own girlfriend.
"And now they are!" She squeaked, bouncing higher with her arms thrown over her head to get the now entering Chris and Brenton.
Chris smiled slightly after Brenton had gotten done telling him some of the riddles that the Ravenclaw Riddler had tossed him and their fellow Ravenclaws. Things had gone... Unusually well, and Brenton was even laughing lightly.
Glancing up, Chris only saw flashes of bright red hair, of which he quickly mistook for fire, and smiled all the larger, picking up the pace of his walk to get to Abigail quickly and pick the small girl up, spinning her giggling self around a few times before sitting her down and laugh. "You never grew." He said.
Brenton came after him, waving slightly at Xavier, recognizing him as that boy that Abigail was always with before he sat down by Evangeline, taking her hand in his.

She spun around at Abigal's comment to see Chris and Brenton. It took all her self control not to rush over to him and check he didn't have any new bruises or anything. She raised her eyebrows slightly as Chris took a couple of long strides towards Abigail, picking her up and spinning her around in a way that was so familiar and almost... sweet. But she forgot about that as she felt Brenton sit down beside her and encircle her hand in his.
Evangeline turned and kissed him on the cheek. "How did it go?" she asked softly, not wanting Chris to hear her, and trying not to let Brenton know through her voice how worried about him she'd been.

((Yeah! Sorry I was away so I only just saw that message))
Xavier waved back to Brenton hesitantly, assuming that he was one of the boys that Abigail knew. He walked over to Abigail and hugged her from behind, gently whispering in her ear ''Hey, I can always wait for you downstairs if you like? I feel like I'm intruding'' he bit his lip, wanting to be with her but also feeling like he was in the way.
Abigail gasped and nodded to Chris, turning her head to hear what Xavier was saying. She shook her head when he was finished, grabbing his arms to ensure he didn't leave. "No no! I'm not letting you get away from me again." She told him, smiling. "Now that they're back, we can leave together." She said, leaning her head on his chest to see what would happen next. "Chris, this is Xavier, my boyfriend."
Chris smiled and held out a hand to shake Xaviers. "I'm Chris. Long lost friend."
Brenton smiled and nodded to Evangeline. "It went well. Thank you for waiting for me." He grinned at her lovingly.

"I thought Kat was pretty cool," Evangeline told her. "I mean, a little distracted-ish, a times, but yes, amazing. And it's really nice of her to check your homework." Evangeline blinked as one of the twinkly lights flashed in her eyes, and giggled again. "What are you going to do now?" she asked.
