When she looked up, she saw the sleeping figure and laughed quietly, "Hello?"

Annabell crept along the stacks with her quill and parchment trying to listen in on conversations trying to get the latest gossip. "There has to be a story in here somewhere" she thought to herself.
Azali spun around, hiding her translations. "Who are you?"
Her attention divided, she spun around, her translations forgotten on the floor. "Um.. hi, who are you?" Azali asked.
"Why Annabells the name and writing's the game" she said proudly as she straighted up her own pair of Rita Skeeter glasses "Whats that book you got there? From the restricted section isn't it?"
"Of course not," Azali lied as she hid the book behind her back. "Not that it's any of your business. You wouldn't even understand my game."
"Up to no good. I suspected as much." Annabell look at her with hungry eyes. Azali could be her next story. "Well don't let Madam Pince find out your looking through the restricted section, she might give you detention."
"I had a note," she growled. "What house are you in anyways? You probably don't even know who I am." Azali easily hid the thick volume behind her, along with the Syrenth-to-English translations she had made in a separate book. There was no way this Rita Skeeter wannabe was getting anything from her.
"Same as yours of course." She replied amused." Green goes best with my glasses"
Azali raised an eyebrow, "Ah, so you do know who I am. Wonderful," she said sarcastically, with an exasperated sigh. And then, an idea formed. "Do you happen to speak any other languages?" she asked slyly.
"sadly no, just what I am speaking now" Annabell quickly jotted something down on her parchment with a smirk, when she was done she looked up. "why do ask, can you?"
With narrowed eyes, she quickly shook her head yes. "Several, not that it should matter to you."
"Anyhow, I'm busy," she looked back at her translations and jotted something down.
Harriet put her copy of The Prophet back in her bag and glanced at her watch. Crap, is that the time? she thought. She swept everything off the table into her bag and hurried out of the library.
She looked up at the running girl and waved, with a smile.
