Mont'ster | 58 comments hmmm Foxthyme...i will have to take your word for that. I was thinking of "Eye of Cat" by Zelzny (i have just recently finished reading it) - is Isle of the Dead a sequel?

message 53: by Foxthyme (last edited Aug 25, 2016 01:55PM) (new)

Foxthyme | 48 comments Righto. Sorry. It's not Isle of the Dead, but Eye of the Cat...

Fenixbird SandS | 56 comments Adam Bede by George Eliot (aka pen name of Mary Ann Evans)

I am at a loss to find Lee Blanchard ...but if I read the instructions correctly(?) another book by the same author (WITH PEN NAME!!LOL) suffices??

Next Character: Sparrowhawk

message 58: by Lori (last edited Aug 25, 2016 01:58PM) (new)

Lori (tnbbc) Fenixbird... I think you have the rules for Title game and Character game mixed up! But seeing as how this one stalled, I dont think anyone would mind if we try yours....

Unless, Greg can give us a hint as to Lee Blanchard.

Foxthyme | 48 comments Lee Blanchard The Black Dahlia -- James Ellroy

Sparrowhawk One: Jack Frake – Edward Cline? Let me know if this is what you’re looking for, Fenixbird.

message 60: by Fenixbird (last edited Aug 25, 2016 02:02PM) (new)

Fenixbird SandS | 56 comments Foxthyme- Well I can't say you are wrong, but I picked this character from A Wizard of Earthsea (The Earthsea Cycle, Book 1)
by Ursula K. Le Guin

I say go ahead and post another character..just for finding Lee Blanchard!! LOL

message 61: by Foxthyme (last edited Aug 25, 2016 02:03PM) (new)

Foxthyme | 48 comments Still not quite sure if Sparrowhawk is aka Jack Frake in this instance...

All right, easy peasy, Lord (Fred) Ickenham

message 62: by Fenixbird (last edited Aug 25, 2016 02:05PM) (new)

Fenixbird SandS | 56 comments I do NOT believe Sparrowhawk is the same..but obviously the name has been used elsewhere...what can we do but accept it?

By the way, I just rented the movie made from the Earthsea novels...will add my movie review commennts to my Earthsea book review.

message 64: by Foxthyme (last edited Aug 25, 2016 02:12PM) (new)

Foxthyme | 48 comments Hi Fenixbird, good find on the name Ickenham. Though I was leaning towards Wodehouse's Uncle Fred Ickenham. But take it away!
