What was your favorite science documentary that you saw in 2011?

My favorite was Forks Over Knives, just released in August, 2011.

Kenny Chaffin (kennychaffin) I think it had to be Brian Greene's Fabric of the Cosmos

Jeff Joseph I was thrilled to see Fabric of the cosmos made, and enjoyed it, short as it was, but through the wormhole seasons 1 and 2 with morgan freeman takes first place for me. Season 1 being the better of the 2. Ill check out forks and knives right now. thanks david

Thanks for pointing out that film, Kenny. It looks very good--I will take a look at it.

I do remember when Brian Greene made a guest appearance on the TV show "The Big Bang Theory". It was short, but absolutely hilarious!

Charise | 54 comments I have really enjoyed Brian Cox's Wonders of the Universe. His pure enjoyment of science is evident and his explanations are pure joy to listen to.

Jimmy | 89 comments Here's Roger Ebert's list of what he considers to be the best documentaries of 2011:

He may be the best movie critic of our time. I recommend his website for movie reviews.

Jimmy | 89 comments May I strongly recommend a documentary from 2010 called Vanishing Bees, narrated by Ellen Page. It's excellent.

Hazel | 26 comments I have a tie, Brain Cox's Wonders of the Universe, and Alice Roberts Origins of Us. But as they're so different in content, I reckon I can have both.

Kenny Chaffin (kennychaffin) I watched Alice Roberts - The Incredible Human Journey recently -- excellent!
