You got me there! This is my first time doing a blog tour as an Author. I believe you need to have several Authors involved. Each Author gives away something during the tour. Such as a book (or two), gift certs, is sent to give away in a lottery, review, and/or invite you to write a guest post or interview you. A schedule is made up, so ? say ? over the course of a month.

This is of course my idea on how it works, but I'm sure Tana could give you more information. She has set up several.

ok so a blog tour is for the authors. so what you need is blogs to participate in the blog tour. So the author and who ever is setting up the tour needs to decide first how many days the blog tour is going to be then you need to find bloggers. Say for instance you want to do a blog tour and you want it to be held over two weeks you would need 14 bloggers. Each blogger post either a review/interview/guest post/excerpts..doing giveaways on the blogs helps as it attracks more people to the blog and the more people that visits the blogs the more exposure your book gets.
