I review books, mainly groups of titles about a given topic - I especially like old and/or forgotten ones. I do sometimes review newer books as well. History is key theme. There are a few that have declined me, but it was a Harlequin that had the new Kubica book I wanted to read that declined me and I looked at their approval thing and it said had to have 500 followers, I have never seen that before, but then again, I have never really looked at what they want as I get a ton of approvals, I have too many in my reading list right now. I'm addicted to that netgalley request button!

So I don't know why they want that many people to be following you. I did have someone tell me they saw a publisher wanted someone with 1000 followers, I can't even image that one but it could be true.

I'm not even going to worry about it any more. I just wish they didn't have that book I really wanted to read. Sigh

Hi I'm Lauren! I am a brand new, active book blogger. I will be posting daily and am looking to improve and grow my blog. I primarily focus on Young Adult books (my favourite genres are: horror, sci-fi, paranormal, dystopian & fantasy), but occasionally read and review Adult books and Comics/Graphic Novels.
