Alot, I don't care to count them (I know well over 100). Mine are organized by last name of the author then by tittle and series after that.

I have no patience for the actual books, so I just put them where they fit by size then I put authors together and sort those how I please. By my vitural shelves are very nice indeed (:

I'm at 103. Yes, I counted. They are all in alphabetical order by author, with graphic novels up front, fiction/novels/autobiographies in the middle, and nonfiction/reference last. Nonfiction is organized alphabetically by subject, then title.

My DVD's and video games are the same way. DVD's are alphabetical by title and video games are organized first by console, then by title. I like alphabetical order. :)

There just everywhere on one shelf. It's sort of neat and sort of not. It's supposed to be by size like the other one.

Haha I tried to alphabetize my books but it didn't end up working out because I kept removing and looking at the books and putting them back in the wrong order. My book shelf has three levels, top is my favorite series, middle is my favorite singles, and bottom is odds and ends. Then I have baskets and piles of books all around my room.

That's why I love virtual bookshelves. So easy to organize, unorganize, and re-organize without even breaking a sweat.

I have over 100 and they are organized by how much I like them (My favorites on top) and also if they are the whole series, so HP Uglies and HG are on top. Then below that shelf I have it organized by the type of book then by author.

way to many to count. haha mine are by type. haha it goes vampires, other paranormal fiction, chick lit, science fiction, and they are in author groups. it makes sense to me but it probably just seems really random haha

I organize alphabetically all the books i read and thats my "main" book shelf. Then i have multiple places in no particular order with the ones i have not read yet which is over a hundred.

I probably have about 150 on my bookshelf. i don't really organize, but I do try to keep non-fiction, mythology, fiction, etc. together. My virtual bookshelves are way nicer. i think its because they are so much easier to organize!
I organize from tallest to shortest with my series in order. Also, each shelf has it's own theme or genre. I think I may be slightly OCD about my bookshelf. lol...That's probably why I work at the library, though. :)

I pretty much put my books wherever they will fit on my bookshelf. I need to invest in another bookshelf so I can organize them better.

I have around 60ish books on my shelf ATM. I really dont have a method to the madness, I just keep all the books from a series together. I also try to break up all the dark covers with colourful ones so it doesnt look so sad. On the far end of my shelf I have some of my fave childrens books & some dictionarys/becherelles. Basically, I try to keep it looking pretty. ;)

I don't really organize my bookshelves very well. I have different shelves for different genres. Two for YA, one for PNR, another for chick lit, others for just general fiction. But apart from that there's no real order at all.

I just redid my bookshelves! I'm not totally sure if I will keep them this way though. I have them organized by young adult on one set of shelves and the younger, kid-appropriate books on another set. I also have a whole shelf of Warriors books :)

i have books i bought on one side of my headboard and then i have school books and library books on the other side.
