Erin What did you think of the ending and what was your favorite part in the book? Also favorite characters name?

Amy The ending pissed me off. The way I see it is that we don't even know if Grace is alive after getting that jab. It felt like such a cop out from the author. I invested in these books and characters, the least she could do is tell me if it's actaully a happy or sad ending. Which is a shame because Maggie is a brilliant writer, it's so poetic and sweet. I just felt that after everything that Sam and Grace had been through that they deserved a happy ending which we're not sure they get. I was disapointed. If I'm to be honest the first book was brilliant, the following two weren't that good and the ending of the first one was brilliant.

Im kind of mad that we dont know whether Grace will die or not aswell, plus i was really excited about the romance between Isabell and Cole, but all we got was a 'Keep this number' From them!!
Although, i must say, the last sentence was legend. i turned the page expecting there was more to the story. I know that there is not going to be a 4th book, but in my mind, the fourth would be the best book ever.

Enigma I was really enjoying this series and felt really compelled by all the characters plight. I didn't feel like we got any real answers. Did Cole buy the land, are the wolves safe, what was Shelby's deal, will Cole & Isabell get together, or will Sam and Grace get to live happlily as a couple? I understand some authors don't want to give a happily ever after, but after taking a three book journey, I would think some sort of resolution should come to one of the many questions/conflicts that arise. I was kind of disapointed.

Zoe I was disappointed in the third book as well. The first two were amazing and I absolutely loved them! And the third one was pretty good except for the ending. When I finished it I was like, what happened to the ending??? We have absolutely no idea if Grace lives, and we also don't know what ends up happening between Isabell and Cole either! I went and got this book the day it came out, and I came away a little disappointed. I know she isn't going to write another book, but I really wish she would so that we could get a few answers.

Kimberly There's no way Grace is going to die. The author just thought that would be understood. The wolves have their own land now and Sam and Grace will be happy together as humans. I was a little disappointed about how they left things with Cole and Isabell

Sofia Have any of you watched the movie "before sunset"? It starts with this interview on the main character, Jesse. He wrote a book with an open ending, too. Then one reporter asks "the book ends on an ambiguous note. We don't know. Do you think they get back together?"
and Jesse answers "It's a good test to know if you're a romantic or a cynic"

I think here happens the same. If you're a romantic, you believe that everybody had a happy ending and if you're a cynic, you will not believe in a happy ending.
I think that's a powerful game that the authors play. Here the question shouldn't be "what should have happened?" but "what do you think it happened?" :):)

Zoe I think that the cure worked and that Sam and Grace lived happily ever after in Mercy Falls. I also think that Cole and Isabel eventually got together even though they fought a lot in the books. :-) :-) :-)

Rose The end kind of annoyed me, because it wasn't really an end. All of the issues presented throughout the book still existed - nothing was solved. There wasn't even a plan for solving it. That said, I loved all three books and the characters in them - it was only the very end that I didn't like.
