Aeogon nodded stepping back into the street."I wouldn't let you walk alone anyway."he said smiling slightly."but I won't stay."

"That's okay," Peyton said. She didn't want him to stay anyway, she wanted to be alone. She stepped into the street with him, the only noise being their footsteps and their breathing, the rythmic beat of Peyton's heart.
Aeogon put his jacket over her shoulders, walking her down back to the dorms"will you be working tomorrow?"he asked.
Peyton nodded, pulling the jacket tighter around her. "Yeah, I open at 8 and close around 11," she said with a soft sigh. She meant 8 am. Her work days seemed ridiculously long to her, but at a fair that's how it worked.
Aeogon nodded."alright."he said stopping at the front door to the dorms."I will see you late then?"he asked. Half of him wanted to stay but she probably needed space. Least she didn't see him in action.
Peyton shrugged, mustering up a small smile. "8 am," she said. "You can come whenever you're free. But I'll warn you, there's a huge rush around ll am and a another at 10 pm."
Aeogon nodded, his kissed her cheek and turned to leave."i'll try to make my way over."he said waving goodbye.
"Kay, bye," Peyton said with a small wave and a tired, but sincere smile. She went back into her dorm and closed the door, falling against it heavily.

((Hmmm... I'll post here, and then I can post at the carnival but we can say it was a day later? So, not 'tomorrow' but they day after that he goes to see her... yeah? lol))
Peyton sucked in a breath, her lips quivering. She squeezed her eyes shut, tears leaking out as she gasped, trying to hold in her sobs.
Stop crying, she told herself. It was a long time ago.
She wiped her face and layed down on her bed, taking a deep breath. Once she felt more calm, she was able to smile a little.
Aeogon may have been a one night stand, but he seemed to care a bit. He hugged her, and walked her home, and kissed her cheek.
A small part of Peyton's brain reminded her: Don't fall too fast. That's how hearts get broken.
