That's a great book. I read it years ago and loved it. Bought a new copy this year when Borders was closing so I can read it again (when I can get to it).

I love Anya Seton. I think she was so talented too bad some of her books are harder to find.

Sue Have you read The Winthrop Woman. This was my favorite. I found a used copy a few years ago but it had a funny odor so I didn't buy it. Loved it.

Kimberly | 130 comments I haven't yet, I've only read
Green Darkness and I adored it The Winthrop Woman is on my list to read this year too.

Sue Enjoy! I should read it again someday.

Marcie Harkness I just finished My Own Country: A Doctor's Story the author is Ethiopian but the story takes place in Tennessee. I feel like I'm cheating because I already have a US book.

Rebecca Huston (telynor) | 101 comments You may want to know that most of The Samurai's Garden occurs in Japan, while the narrator is Japanese-Chinese.

Thanks Rebecca, I had two for China anyway. I've already got one for Japan so I'll put The Samurai's Garden on a different list.
