Did any one one catch the fact that in the movie hades showed his real form !! Uh hello they would be burned instantly. Uh movie people if your gonna do this please do it right or I'm begging u don't do it all

yeah, the movie was such a disaster. i am guessing that's why rick decided not to let them make his books into movies anymore.
I agree. The author should have more say in what happens in the movies. I mean, they ARE the ones that wrote it. And did you notice that Annabeth's hair was brown? In the books, it clearly states that her hair is blonde. And they totally left Clarisse out.

yeah. it was bad. everything was wrong. i am beginning to think that rick got embarrassed by the results of the movie.

also, annabeth, percy and all them were meant to be 13. they were FREAKING 16! Annabeth drove a car into medausa (ALSO WRONG!!!)
plus annabeth's eyes are grey not green, luke and Percy did not fight at the top of Olympus, the entrace of Olympus was NOT a door way on the top of the Empire State Building, it was through an elevator!!!! the list goes on...

I don't know what happened with this movie. It was entertaining and a good quality film and SFX, but I hated all the changes. Which makes no sense to me because Chris Columbus the guy who directed this film also did the first few Harry potter films which were much closer adaptations. Quite the accomplishment for longer books. I didn't like the aging up of the characters, made me feel like they weren't serious about the whole series. Annabeth really annoyed me. I just couldn't get over her coloring. The whole time I was thinking how hard it must be to find a blond girl with light eyes in Hollywood. Her and Percy looked like siblings. Normally I'm an advocate of brunettes but a blonde would have made a nice contrast to the trio. I also feel that they only picked a brunette because they wanted to use that Greek actress as Athena. Because shes Greek and would somehow legitimize the film. But she was terrible with that bad accent.
The worst part though was the change to the antagonist and ending. They completely cut out Aries and made hades the bad guy then threw Persephone in there just to have a part for Rosario Dawson, who totally looked like an acient Greek????
And they did have the entry of Olympus in the elevator, but only showed it in the trailer. They did a gqreat job on tqhe posters and trailers I just wish they ould have carried it into the film.
Whoever cast the movie and wrote the script should be blacklisted.

I don't think that was Hades true form. I just think it was him in a scary form to scare Percy into giving him the lightning bolt.

Hard to tell what the filmmakers meant with all the liberties they took with the book.
There was this whole fight between Percy and Ares on the beach, and they didn't even MENTION Ares in the movie. How ridiculous is that? And I totally agree that the actors and actresses should have been younger. In the movie, the pearls had to be found. In the book, the pearls were given to them.

It is just my opinion. For all I know it might have been his real form. That is just what I thought.

Ok! So I'm gonna go to the studio and let loose a bunch of bugs! They'll be so aggravated and disgusted they'll have to call an exterminator (me). When they do I will be wearing a gas mask and instead of bug poison gas stuff I will spray people poison gas stuff and destroy them all and prevent them from making that movie =)
