Thanks Colleen :) ... I just re-read the first Trixie Belden with my daughter. She likes Nancy Drew more, but I get so mad when Nancy always lets Ned drive her car! :)

Me too Dena! I skimmed the threads before joining, and knew I belonged :)
Hi Allison, thanks for joining us. We've got something for everyone here and the members have set up some fun story telling games in the "Fun and Games" folder too. 17 books... wow. Congratulations and good luck with the next 17!

Thanks Hayes! ... I'll check out Fun and Games :)

Good to see you here. We talked briefly at the Colorado Gold conference this fall, and I subscribe to your email newsletter. This is a great group that I think you'll enjoy hanging out with.

I remember meeting you after years of seeing you online! :)
I read widely--romantic suspense, mysteries, horror, thrillers, some classics, true crime. I have too many favorite authors to name, probably like many of you! I love Michael Connelly and Lisa Gardner--they're probably in my top ten of all times. Also like Keith Ablow, Tess Gerritsen, Jonathon Kellerman, JD Robb, Lee Child, Robert Crais, Karin Slaughter, Linda Fairstein, Linda Barnes, John Saul, Alex Kava, and others. I'm also a fan of Stephen King, starting with THE STAND when I was 13. I read over 50 Agatha Christie books--my mother was a huge fan, so had a large collection. (Growing up I read all the Trixie Belden and Nancy Drew books and now my 8 year old daughter is reading them! Wow they are outdated ....) For romantic suspense, I love Mariah Stewart and Laura Griffin in particular, but read widely there as well.
I also love reading debut novels and finding fresh voices in my favorite genres. This is why I often judge the Best First Novel for the Thriller awards--free first books I might not otherwise have picked up.
