The first three were awesome! The fourth was ok, the fifth was readable, the sixth was pointless, the seventh was a ripoff of the third, and nevermore was an insult to my taste. Oh well. At least the series descended into madness "nevermore". Guess there's only so much you can do with flying kids that don't meet the X-men.

I believe that it went up hill since the start. I admit I got confused a bit with the back and forth but other than that it was amazing. I was on an adrenaline rush since the start and Was hoping he was going to have another or at least ad a continuing series. telling about the current happenings with max. did she die, did they have kids? I want to know
THis is one of my fave series. I agree, the last two books weren't as good but they were still fantastic. I am a Fangirl about this series and more people should read it
I liked books one though three, but after that they got boring and unrealistic (as unrealistic as you can get with a book about flying children and a talking dog) I hate the new guy Dilan and that whole global warming thing. While caring about the world is important it should not be the plot of 4 books or any book in this series. It got so bad where I had to stop reading, and when I think to recommend them to people I always say don't go past the third book!
