Dr. Who and Chameleon Circuit
I was just trying to get to the root of the superstition... I can't find anything, so I guess it'll remain one of life's mysteries. (Or to me, at least.)
it doesn't matter if you aren't fluent, if you can even give us a ball park of what she's saying, we'd appreaciate it.
No way, SD!I speak most Sarah. I have the occasional difficulty. I think she may have been being random on purpose, or she meant to post it somewhere else.

Translation: I was trying to find the root of the "pouring water" superstition.

Oh! 'K. She was trying to figure out when people started pouring water on the floor in memory of a dead person.
Don't know when they started, but I do know that it's a coustom. and you're supposed to pour alcohol. I couldn't type that, though. I would get alot more than a whippin if my mom found me with an alcoholic drink.
Didn't find much... But I did learn an interesting Russian superstition. Apparently, you aren't supposed to boast about future success. It's bad luck, and it's better to be pessimistic. I kinda do this already, because I don't want to jinx things. XD
Oh, also:
A stranger should not look at a newborn baby before it is a certain age (between two months and one year). If one looks at the baby it is considered bad luck to compliment it. Instead, one could say, "Oh, what an ugly child!"

I dunno... Right now my family is singing the "Muppet or Man" song and saying "We are not a weird family at all."
Though, my mum talks to my brother in a Southern accent when she's mad at him, and makes fun of me in the "Adam Gidwitz voice", and I randomly get British accents, so I dunno, we might tie. And we have a hovercraft...
Yah. I think it's missing a part, so we'd have to make it run, but I can't think why not. I mean, minus the whole you gotta come get it stuff! XD My mum hates it. One of my dad's "projects".
So, how does it work? MagLev, turbines, industrial rocket fuel, jets, condensed air release? Give me something to work with.
I actually think turbines with a motor. I'll investigate further when I see my dad next.NERDS ARE COOL!
Yes they are! Anyway, the only reason I want to know is because inventing is one of my many nerdy hobbies
Sweet! I've always been one for long mechanical talks. I'll ask my dad something and he'll give me a huge explanation and show me the parts that make whatever it is go and such. Geek talk=awesome!
I know! I just wish that there was someone who knew about mechanics here. I fix everything. sometimes i just take things apart to see how they work.
Ha ha, cool. I've always wanted to take apart our blender. Maybe I'll endeavor to learn a bit about it. :)
dooooooooooooooooooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttt! doooooooooooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttt!
Gonna go look for some cool internet articles! What else do you like to do, besides read and talk nerdy about mechanics?
Hmmm, I tell amazing jokes, I've dabbled in the magical trickery, and I'm pretty good in chess. and you? Oh, I'm also psychic.
I love chess! And checkers! I like to bake. I'm teaching myself to draw. I love computers. And I just...like being not a normal middle school girl.
kidding about the whole psychic thing. But, I am good at solving mysteries. I've been watching CSI since I could understand what they were saying.
Nice! I really like Sherlock Holmes {as movies, tele shows, books, anything}, Miss Marple {another British mystery solver} and most mystery books, so I can be good at the occasional mystery. And I love debates, 'cause I can usually win...

That's horrid. I hope she finds something that counters that impression.
