In the summer I like to lay in the grass with a glass of lemonade under the shade of our maple tree. Although it can get problematic when there's a breeze and your pages get ruffled and you lose your place. :(

I usually hold the book with my thumb on top of the current page I'm reading and my other fingers supporting the cover, that way if the pages flip I still know where I am.

I can't read with backround noise which is common in my house because I have a sister who is OBSESSED with Adelle and likes to blast her music on every radio/music player in the house! :\
It doesn't help when you have library time at school and nobody cares about the No Talking rule. It irritates me so much! It's like nobody respects librarians any more!

in my bedroom or on a couch and usually with earphones! i already loeve music and it helps when reading too!!
Make a nice cup of tea. Walk to my bedroom. Shut the bedroom door. Lay on my bed. Have a sip of tea. And Read.

Where did you guys read during the summer?

What's your favorite kind of tea?

That's good. Did anyone go to ALA? I really wanted to go but it was too far from where I live, but trying again next year! :)

Remind me what ALA is. I have been a bit out of the loop.

Aw, that's too bad. I am finally back into my swing where I can read a book, have to ignore it for a week then pick it up and easily pick up where I left off.
