My wife likes the books of Rosamunde Pilcher, can anyone recomend other authors who write similar stories?
Thanks
Thanks
I think you both may enjoy the books by R F Delderfield....God Is an Englishman (The Swann Family Saga) Long Summer Day (Horseman Riding By Trilogy) They are not as modern but similar in style.
There is also Sharon Owens " The Ballroom on Magnolia Street, and " The Tea House on Mulberry Street". They were really good. You can also read Robin Pilcher her son, his books are good too.
One of my all time favorite books; time to read it again!
Before there was Rosamunde Pilcher, there was Daphne DuMaurier who spent most of her life in Cornwall (Fowey area).
I can highly recommend her novels "Frenchman's Creek", "Rebecca" and "The House on the Strand" (time slip novel).
For Manderley aka Menabilly fans: "The King's General".

I am looking for authors similar to Jeffery Archer, especially his Clifton Chronicles and As The Crow Flies. Any good suggestions?
