Sad and a great book of a character that is resourceful and lovable. A book that I will always remember.

I thought it was very mediocre. The characters weren't well fleshed out. The descriptions weren't vivid enough. There wasn't enough suspense to the predictable plot. At the end of the story I didn't feel close to Georgina at all. Nor did I feel she had learned anything beyond "stealing is bad". I think The Same Stuff as Stars by Katherine Paterson, has some similar themes, but had a much better execution. You might want to check it out.

I loved this book. I reread it to this day. Something about makes me feel like i had stolen a dog and I think that takes a lot for an author to make me believe that. I get so guilty!!!

A story that I read 2 years ago and still remember it vividly. Great story to learn empathy towards those that have little.
