SOLVED. Book about ancient Egyptians [s]

there were two books written by this same author. one of the books was about ancient egyptians and they were building the tomb the tomb had a trap that would flood the pyramid with water from the nile.

the second book was about modern archeologists that discover this tomb and are trying to solve the different mysteries of it.

I want to read these books again so much but I can't remember the names of them to save my life.
