Where do you write/favorite writing spot

I have the old lap top set up without internet connection so I can't get distracted, well no more than usual anyway.
(I will admit that sometimes if a bunny bites hard I have been known to write whilst at work ... my bosses can't read this can they??)

Balancing tea, cookies, paper and pen as you teeter on the arm in the wake of a rampaging child - no wonder your writing has so much energy to it :)

How old are they?

Weird but bright girls grow up to be amazing - just saying. I'm raising two of them. They're lucky to have you for a brother.

Wow, more than my brothers ever did; those are the biscuits with something like fruit jelly and chocolate, right?

Since we call them cookies and snack-cakes, I'm not even going there. I love Pims, which are similar but definitely cookies/biscuits. Jaffa cakes are occasionally seen in an imports section.

Yeah, I have RA and on bad days I can't even type. Very lame.

I've heard of these things called Jaffa cakes in the UK... they are supposed to be REALLY nice...

Depends if you like dry sponge, with a blob of overly sweet orange jelly, covered on the top with dark chocolate (yep, not my favourite thing :o) )

Yum - sounds good to me :)
@ Meagan - I used to handwrite everything but it's too slow; I bet it's good for lyrics though where you give each word more thought.

Better be me!"
LOL!!! I finished a little something for you Bradley. Will send it later tonight. Excited for you to read it! Hope your day is going better. Love you both!

And you are too kind dear boy. And I sent a reply to Bradley. I felt bad after I realized I never mentioned the baseball cap. LOL. Maybe you can write in a little something featuring the hat!!!

Hehe! My mind is revving now about that cap!! LOL."
Matty. You make me laugh. Such joy you bring to me and so many others. Such joy!

I got a sneak viewing (she likes me too.) and I agree. :)

Awwww, I'm glad we get to share her! And that "gift" is amazing! We should all gang up on her, give her a HUGE HUG, and s..."
Well she is a playwright already; and she is doing a short for the adult group Love is Always Write anthology. So unless she wimps out, she is going to be published. But I would definitely go along with the hug.

That would be awesome for her to get her published!

Absolutely!!

I personally never blame anyone for trying to avoid work... well except my kids when I'm home-schooling.

The tablet thing sounds good, except my ideas come when I'm driving or something else that makes typing questionable. I'm thinking about a voice recorder - can't do that in public though LOL (not even sure I can do it aloud alone in my car - hm...Might be a problem..) It sounds like your dog and mine could get together and complain about how boring mom is when that computer is on - mine sleeps in my lap, but eventually gets bored and starts cruising around looking for things to snatch that I can't just ignore.
I'll write anywhere I can! That said, my favorite spot is a little window nook at my parents' beach house. It's a little alcove on the second floor. I sit on a pillow with my back against one wall and put my laptop on a stool in front of me. There's just enough space to type comfortably. The best part is that the window overlooks a bay. With the window open I can hear gulls and passing fishing boats. There's nothing like writing with a nice slightly salty scented breeze and the sound of the water.
Where do you like to write?
