'No' he replied chucking it back.

He wasn't going to say much, it'd hurt them too much, he winked at a couple of girls who were disscussing him at the back.

'So we're good? we're friends?' she asked again, 'No awkward moments?' she remembered he didn't like to be uneasy with anyone

'Yeah, sure' he passed it back without looking at her.

She smiled. 'That should be enough for me' she thought 'Just friends'.

[Lucy]

He didn't reply, but, nodded as a girl came up to him,

"Hey Charlie" she was blonde and petite, she shuffled on her feet, "Would you like to come with me to the house party on 67 wallgate street?" she grinned looking hopeful.

He exchanged a glance with Astrid, for a moment it looked like he was in pain, before his face went back to normal, "Yeah-" he leant back, "Sure, why not" he winked at her as she scurried off to her friends.

She tap her pen on the table in Morse code, saying 'wish i wasn't here to hear that' she knew no one knew it was a code

Charlie rolled his pen across the table. he yawned and opened his sketchbook.

'So bored' she tapped again

[Lucy]

He looked at her questionally, it was starting to irritate him, What? He mouthed.

She sat up straight, "huh?" she was confused as he was, "What did i do?" she asked

[Lucy]

"You're tapping every 5 seconds?" he said.

[aStriD_maRie]

"Oh. morse code. sorry" she said and tapping again and saying, 'I love you' "See, just a code. nothing more" and then put down her pen

Code? What code? He'd never heard of it before, "Ok then" he gave her an apologetic smile before turning back to the front.

Then she just sang, almost a whisper, "All that I know is I don't know, How to be something you miss.." and then hummed the rest of the song and looking out the window

The bell rang for end of class and he put his books away. he stood up and nodded at Astrid before leaving with girls trailing behind.
