Happy Kid! by Gail Gauthier is about a boy named Kyle.He has been having trouble since 6th grade.His mom thinks he is very negative so she buys him a self help book for a back to school present.Since Kyle is not interested in reading the book ,his mom offers hi one dollar for each chapter.The chapters are really short so he starts reading the book.Many different things happen when Kyle starts trying to change his attitude and stars being more positive.
