Richard Riddle What is truth? Can truth be derived from what is known, mathematical, physical, etc, or is it something that is much more than what is known?

Richard Riddle Truth exist as a function of truth. I discussed this concept in Transitions. Truth and perception are not often the same. I may perceive something as true, but it may not be real truth. If I have been told something is true; and from that teaching have set my anchors solidly in the ground, then to move me to an alternate truth may be extremely difficult. It is for this reason that I can only discuss what I allow myself to do and not instruct you what to do.

Richard Riddle "What is Truth? A difficult question; but I have solved it for myself by saying that it is what the "voice within" tells you." - Mahatma Gandhi

Richard Riddle The question is about miracles. Do miracles happen today, the same type of miracles that are discussed in the Bible and the Quran? I say miracles happen each and every day. What say you?

Sumer Riddle Truth by definition is based in fact or reality. Reality is an illusion. Maybe this is why words of truth are always paradoxical.

Richard Riddle It's been awhile since I commented here, however, rest assured, during that time truth has remained constant. Truth is. Awesome, isn't it? Thanks

When you reference our reality to the spiritual universe then I think it is accurate to say, when given reality is a function of time, that our reality is just an illusion within the greater scheme of the universe.
In terms of truth, truth is in the spiritual universe as it is in our reality. What is true is always true; it is an unwavering constant. If I can say this and what I say is true, then in terms of your paradox, what may be perceived as truth in this instance of time is only called "true" given the information available at the time and may in fact be or not be absolute truth.
I wonder how we could change the definition of perceived truth from absolute truth. I think it is something to think about.
