Jan (janoda) | 140 comments Hi, is it possible that a book has multiple Kindle editions?

I just got myself this book: http://www.amazon.fr/Bitten-ebook/dp/... but the Kindle edition here is Bitten

I've never encountered a book that had different Kindle editions, so I was wondering if I shelf it as a different cover edition of the existing one, or make a new entry for it in the database? I think the ASIN numbers are different though.

Elizabeth (Alaska) They can be different editions. I've seen that plenty of times with public domain books.

Mel (soireb) | 224 comments The edition you have seems to be the french kindle edition; at least the link is from amazon.fr.

This is the English kindle edition of Bitten. Maybe that is why they have different covers.

Edited to add:
This is a link to the edition with the same cover as yours here at goodreads

Jan (janoda) | 140 comments I know it's from the French amazon, but it's definitely en English edition. Maybe it's a Europe/US thing? With the georestrictions and all.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments I've seen a lot of books with multiple kindle editions. I see it happen mostly with self published books where someone may re-release the book with minor edits or things like that and it's gets a new ASIN.

As long as the ASINs are different I don't see any reason not to add a new edition using the ASIN of your edition.
