I got this idea last night. Here goes:

This group is for anyone who wants to read and rate Secret Speakers and the Search for Selador's Gate--for free. I will send the e-book version to your inbox on Dec. 26th. I want to make sure I get it right before it's published next Spring! Here's where to get it: http://www.SecretSpeakers.com

==> TIPS:

Get creative. Who do you know? Announce it on the intercom at school. Just paste the URL of our groups' main page into your invites or email friends. Or you can click "invite" on the right side of this screen to invite friends here at Goodreads. Use your imagination. One person here is using a blog to spread the word.

I'm doing the same thing on Facebook. So if you are mainly here on Goodreads, you have an equal chance. And remember, you have until midnight December 25th, so fire away those emails and invites. Wahoo!

==> HONOR SYSTEM:

I simply expect whoever is doing this to be diligent in keeping track of how many people you invite. Just keep track of your tally of invited friends and submit the total to me before January 1, 2009. We'll have to do this on the honor system. We all need to trust each other that we're as good as our word.

Here's the way that will be simplest, I believe: Just keep track of your tally of invited friends on your fridge or next to your computer and submit the total to me at the beginning of April, 2009. Honor system!

If there is a tie, we'll do a group vote. If there is any question, we'll vote as a group, too.
