This book is a conflation of 2 different editions. The picture is of the 1964 Pocket Books paperback edition. The publisher (Simon and Schuster) and date (1957) are only correct for the hardcover edition. There are currently 14 ratings attached to this entry. Should this:
1) have the data fixed to the paperback edition and then create the hardcover? (All ratings attached to paperback.) 2) have the picture and data fixed to the hardcover edition and then create the paperback? (All ratings attached to hardcover.)
I'm just not sure where the ratings should end up attached.
I would create a hardcover edition with the 1957 pub date and S & S publisher, edit the existing PB ed. to have a 1964 date and the Pocket Books publisher, and leave it at that. If someone discovers they meant to shelve the HB edition, they can switch editions. There's no way of knowing which edition those 14 people meant to shelve.
