Rebecca | 11 comments Other than Amazon, what other places do you guys go to get your romance/erotic ebooks for your kindle?

The reason i'm asking this is because I noticed some author's books are banned on Amazon and some like Selena Kitt even had to write a revised version just so her books will be listed... i'm of coures, not a fan of reading the censored version... so what other places can i go to find large amount of erotic ebooks? (mobi version for kindle)

*i know a lot of places sell their ebooks in epub format, but when this format is converted into mobi, will it convert perfectly? or will it sometimes come out all messy like how the pdf sometimes converts?

*lastly, do other sites sell their ebooks the same way as amazon? i'm overseas at the moment, and right now i can buy ebooks from amaon with the non-u.s. visa card through amazon's one-click payment. is it the same for all ebook selling sites as well?

i'm trying to gather a good amount of sites i can use to buy my ebooks from for my kindle, so any recommendations are welcomed. especially the ones dedicated to romance/erotic novels and ones with frequent free books for download.

Julie (musicaficta) Have you triedFictionwise? I don't know if they have stuff for Kindle, because I don't have one and have no idea what formats it takes. I do know they have epub, MobiPocket, Microsoft e-reader, PDF, and some others I'm sure I'm missing. I'm also not certain if they have all the authors you're looking for, and sometimes they only have a few books by certain authors, not everything.

As for buying, it's been awhile since I've bought from there, but you can use paypal, or probably do a one-click thing once you've signed up.

The nice thing is that they save your account, and you can log back in and re-download your books at any time, which is great because I always delete stuff accidentally, or get viruses and have to reformat my computer, various crap like that.

Zafia | 123 comments I like ellora's cave. Very easy to buy from there.
They have everything in the erotic romance genre.
They also have a button called free reads and its usually around 5pg long.
Their books range from a lil smut to a whole lot smutty.
I love it lol.

Kym Grosso (kgrosso1) | 20 comments I have a Kindle so I get them on Amazon. There is a facebook group "What to read after 50 shades of grey" that has lots of recommendations :-)

A Voracious Reader (a.k.a. Carol) (avidreader68) I get mine from: Amazon, Smashwords, AllRomance, Ellora's Cave, Xcite Books

I think I'm missing one, but not sure what.

Tala (tala2) Evernight publishing and samhain publishing.
I've bought from both. I think you get a good discount with your first purchase from samhain.

I also check my fav authors web pages. They will usually have links where to buy the book.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 2569 comments A pretty good amount can be found on Smashwords, and Samahian Publishing.

Xavier Edwards (xavieredwards) | 271 comments I'm going to break the mould here and admit to not really having any erotic eBooks (despite writing them). The erotic books I've got I actually went and got from the brick & mortar bookshops. Any ebook versions I then have are just electronic versions of mostly what's on the shelf.
