Rebecca Other than Amazon, what other places do you guys go to get your romance/erotic ebooks for your kindle?

The reason i'm asking this is because I noticed some author's books are banned on Amazon and some like Selena Kitt even had to write a revised version just so her books will be listed... i'm of coures, not a fan of reading the censored version... so what other places can i go to find large amount of erotic ebooks? (mobi version for kindle)

*i know a lot of places sell their ebooks in epub format, but when this format is converted into mobi, will it convert perfectly? or will it sometimes come out all messy like how the pdf sometimes converts?

*lastly, do other sites sell their ebooks the same way as amazon? i'm overseas at the moment, and right now i can buy ebooks from amaon with the non-u.s. visa card through amazon's one-click payment. is it the same for all ebook selling sites as well?

i'm trying to gather a good amount of sites i can use to buy my ebooks from for my kindle, so any recommendations are welcomed. especially the ones dedicated to romance/erotic novels and ones with frequent free books for download.

Sandra | 4734 comments Michael, I'm in Australia and I use allromanceebooks.com as well as publisher's sites.

Simply find an author you like and check out other books they've written. It will list where they are published on their websites and most do mobi, I think.

t'irla ~The Bookslayer~ aka Barbara (tirla) One of the things I like most about publisher sites is that they will recommend books similar to the one you bought. I have discovered a lot of new authors that way.

Jenny | 37 comments Try fictionwise.com, samhain publishing, jasmine jade or bookstrand(siren publishing) they all have erotic ebooks. There are others, but I have tried those and have never had a problem with them. You could also try loose id they have what your looking for. I'm from Canada and most of these site have different versions for the books that you buy and will take a non us visa card you just have to pay whatever the exchange rate is. I've never had a problem with them.
So if you have a kindle you don't have to have to convert them they will come in your ereader format just use prc or mobipocket/kindle. I have been using it for a while and seems to be fine. I don't have a kindle but use mobipocket on my computer and they seem to show it as the kindle version. You could try it with one and see how it goes and that way you'll know. Good luck.

Angela Bergeron (philangies) Hmm I didn't know some were banned on Amazon. I'll have to check out the other ones, but I use Amazon or Ellorascave, which is jasmine jade.

Angela Bergeron (philangies) I also just googled the author you used as an example and her website suggested http://excessica.com/

They specifically have a genre listed as banned on Amazon http://www.excessica.com/books/index.....

I'm a huge fan of Laurann Dohner who falls under Erotic Romance.

Missyb | 52 comments I would suggest smashwords. They have a option to have adult books listed or not (a filter). They also have a large amount of free or under $2 or $3 e-books
