She nodded a bit, "Yeah...well i didn't really go shopping much, but emilys given me quite a few things, plus birthday gifts and stuff."
He frowned, he missed her 18th. "What did you do for that?"
She shrugged a little, "Nothing really, just sat around the house and opened a few gifts." She said softly.
"Yeah..." she nodded a little. "How was graduation?" She asked knowing she barely missed it.
"It was good." He said. "But.. could have been better."
She nodded to the first part, "Well then, that's good...i guess."
She nodded a little, and looked back to everyone else, not really knowing what to say.
Her mom announced dinner was ready. Delilah walked to the kitchen with him.
She sat next to him, and across from Sam.
She held his hand as well, plating some food
Everyone else plated as well, and began eating.
She ate fairly slow, or at least slow for being pregnant anyway.
She smiled a little as she looked over to him, abd resumed eating
He kept eating after she looked at him.
There was plenty of conversation going on, but she wasn't really paying attention to it. Soon, she was finished eating
She got up and took the dishes of people who were done and brought them to the kitchen.
She glanced over to him when he got up, "You don't need to help," she told him, washing the dishes off.
She shrugged a little, but nodded, "Ok.." she said, starting to load the dish washer
Once the final dish was loaded, she closed it and started it up
He leaned against the counter and watched her.
Delilah looked back to everyone, particularly Jason. He looked to her, then pointed to his picket then Emily when she wasn't looking. Delilah nodded and snaked, giving him a thumbs up.
She looked to him, "You'll see," she told him, looking back to Jason who had taken Emily to the living room. He got down on one knee in front of Emi as everyone else turned to them
Zach looked over.Emily stood in front of him, she looked at him then everyone else then back to him. Tears forming.
She smiled as she watched the two. Jason smiled, taking a small box out of his pocket. After saying a few sweet words he opened the box, "Emily,will you marry me?"
Zach smiled and hugged Delilah.Emily looked down at it, she smiled and nodded. "Yes.. YES." she said before pulling him up and hugging him tightly.
She smiled and hugged him back, happy for her brother. Jason smiled happily and slipped the ring on her finger. He hugged her tightly, and kissed her. "i love you Emily."
He smiled softly watching them.She smiled and kissed him, he was everything she needed. "I love you Jason."
She smiled as she watched them a little longer, than turned back to Zach. "Isn't that sweet?" she smiled
Zach looked to her and nodded. "Yeah."
She smiled a little and nodded, glancing back to the commotion behind her
She smiled, abd went and congratulated Emily and Jason.
She whispered something to Emily as she hugged her. As Emily pulled away she nodded, "Oh of course." he told her. Delilah smiled, looking back to Zach.
Zach looked at them and raised an eyebrow, he didnt know what they were talking about.
Emily and Jason went up stairs. Delilah went back over to Zach.
