unNABing some references

Hi All,

I've been adding my books collection into GR and ws a bit surprised to find the Not A book expression as their title once imported.

I also tried to manually create another one which wasn't imported and got the message the ISBN was already existing and recorded as NAB.

The following ISBNs can be ssen as magazines but as they hold novels and articles around authors and other books, I would consider them as books.

978-2-91565-335-9
978-2-91565-331-1
978-2-35294-115-6

Can you consider unNABing them?

We had problem with ISBN's and NOT A BOOK searches a month or so ago - it to rivka and programming help to sort out.

Could you check the data?
Worldcat has 2 entries for the this Isbn with (slightly) different titles and different authors. Googlebooks isn't reliable, because uses the data from Worldcat.

Hi Luisa,

Faeries was a periodical and this was #23 and was dedicated to Ann Mc Caffrey but she didn't write a word in it. So it's a bit weird to have her identified as an author.

The illustrator could be ok for the cover but there could be more than one as there are illustrations inside as well. I will verify but it will be for Monday.

About Authors, Lisa Mantchev had one of her novel placed in this edition. But there were others, here is the list:

I added the authors and changed the title. I can't find the other Isbn on GR, I'll add them if you have the data. Worldcat doesn't list all the authors for these entries.

Thanks for the update.

I have the data but as I already said I tried to manually add 978-2-91565-328-1 but was refused as it was already identified as a NAB. So there could still be an issue with the search and NAB entries.

NABed books do not come up in search results on purpose, which is why they are not found in search even though they do exist on the site.

I got the #24 issue because it was on Patrice's book list so it was easy to find. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find either of the other two in the mess of NABs. :/

Thanks a lot for this update. I think the only issue that remains is the one created by Luisa without ISBN (Message#9) but it's ok for me like that.

Here an update for the 5 first publications of this periodical. On a general remark, I would also suggest that all of the bindings are set to "Paperback" and not "Broché" as GR is in english. Editor is also sometimes wrongly spelled that's why I put it in the update.
