I am having a very difficult time deleting the profile image icon. It is not the correct image. It's not me lol I don't know who it is. If I click on it and go to my profile it has the correct image. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would appreciate it. thanks

No but I am having the same problem - well not the same cos both images are of me, but, well you know what I mean....
That's strange indeed. Try this. At the top right of this screen, there should be the profile image icon. Click on the drop down arrow beside it, and click on edit profile. There you will see the picture on the right side of the screen (it may be the correct one or wrong one) but underneath it you can change/delete photo. I would suggest deleting it and uploading your image again.I hope this helps.
Alas, I have tried that a couple of times but I appreciate the feedback. I think it will come down to an administrator to clear this up. It's just driving me crazy to see that I am not me. :)
Strange thing is when I go to more photos I am able to view the photo which is the source of this thread but I am unable to delete it. It's a very annoying bug in the system
I can only imagine how frustrating that is. But the admins here on GR are pros at fixing things. Maybe by tomorrow you'll be looking at your own pic.
Michael, are you trying to delete the small icon that appears next to your posts in this thread, or the large one that appears on your author profile?
I have the same problem. I had a joint account for Larry and me, but changed it to a personal one, and created a separate one for him. the icon still shows the photo of the two of us, even though I have changed both of them to our individual ones.
That makes me feel a little better that I am not the only to encounter this problem but I hope they can fix this bug. I can always scrap the account and start over but I would rather not.
Lorna, I'm seeing the same image on both your small icon next to posts and the large one on your author page. Both are just of you --

Is either of those correct, or are they both wrong?
The pic with the hat is not right but the larger pic of the man with a shaved head is the correct image :)

Click on the drop down box next to your photo at the top right of the screen. Click on edit profile
Now all the way over to the right you will see:
See My Profile / Edit My Author's Profile
My profile should be the one with the incorrect photo. Underneath can you click on change/delete photo?
The pic on my Profile is correct. It's the small photo in the top right of screen

Even before that, it was showing up correctly in most places. Which implies that only the smallest size was off/corrupted somehow. Very unlikely to have been anything you did that I can think of.
