Anne Tyler's "The Beginner's Goodbye". I think I have every book Anne has ever written, there are a couple that I have not enjoyed, however, she is one of my favorite authors. My local bookstore owner has already read it, even though it is not out yet, and she "loved" it - we usually have the same taste in ficiton authors - so I am really excited!
"Treasure of the Emerald Isle" by Barbara Ivie is the one I'm looking for. Her book "Treasure of Egypt" made me really want more.
"The Twelve" by Justin Cronin, followed very closely by "Shadow of Night" by Deborah Harkness.
My book already came out. I was thrilled for the next book in the Gone series by Michael Grant: Fear. It was great!
Garment of Shadows (the latest in the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series) by Laurie R King coming in September!
Redshirt by John Scalzi!It's out now and I have made myself promise to save it for an upcoming trip.... and I am feeling impatient! I've read the four freebie chapters a couple of times now.
My most awaited title is Splintered by A.G. Howard. It is a novel about a descendent of Alice Liddell who finds herself in a Wonderland that is even more strange than Lewis Carroll let us believe!
