His lips didn't send chills or made her burn up. Instead, they comforted her when they touched her skin. Soft, warm, Kal. She wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him closer. "Kal..." she whispered, clinging onto him as if he might disappear at any second.

At that moment when she whispered his name, all he wanted was to be with her. To protect her. Love her. Cherish her. He didn't care that she was a half-breed, that didn't seem to change who she was in his eyes. It made her unique and beautiful. His arms tightened around her waist, as he hoisted her up onto his hips. Walking into his room, he pressed her back against the door. He just held her there, breathing in her scent. "Katia..."
"Kal..." She buried her face in the hollow of his neck, holding onto him as tight as she possibly could, not caring if she was being too desperate for his touch. She wanted to hold on to this moment, afraid that it was all a dream and she would wake up in the cold, dark woods again. "Kal... What's the matter with us?" she asked desperately.
His shoulder muscles tensed, raising his head out of her neck. "What do you mean?" His eyes switched from purple, to light blue. The warmth in his chest threatening to become just a chill.((Last post. :c))
"Why do I feel like I need you so much?" she whispered, looking right into his eyes, noticing the change in color. "I feel like... Like I'm starting to..." Fall for you. She didn't say it out loud, but she knew he understood.
Kal felt as if his heart was about to burst out of his chest. He couldn't hardly believe the words coming out of her mouth. God, please don't let this be a dream. Please... "I guess when you start to fall apart, you need someone to hold on to. To let them put the pieces back together somehow." His eyes changed to a deep yellow color, imdicating his current mood: Happiness.
"And you do that so effortlessly," she said, smiling softly at him as her eyes filled with tears of joy. She held onto him tighter, and her voice turned into a whisper. "You make me feel whole again..."
So much passion and sudden love for this girl bloomed in his chest, making his eyes sting. His now purple eyes stared into her violet ones, his arms tightening around her body more. "Katia..." His breath hitched in his throat, as he buried in face into her neck. "You do the same to me," he murmured into her skin.
She shut her eyes as her happy tears finally gave out and flowed down her cheeks. She cupped his chin with one hand, and then very slowly, very gently, pressed her lips to his.
Without any warning, to himself or to her, he hastily pressed his lips to hers fully, molding perfectly. His one of his hands traveled up her spine, and plunging it into her hair.
She started to kiss him with more force. So much so that it made him stumble back, toward his bed. Her hands were all over him now, wanting to touch every part of him.
Her force made him tumble backwards, onto his bed. With him on his back, he got a clear look at how beautiful she was. Gazing up at her, his heart almost beat out of his ribs. His hot hands trailed a path of warmth up her thighs, gripping around her waist tightly, as he watched her with deep purple eyes.
Her breathing became ragged, and her heart burst out of her chest at the sight of this gorgeous boy before her, who was holding her in his arms. "Kal.." she whispered again, pressing her lips to his. Not quite kissing him, but just loving the feel of his soft lips against hers.
When she said his name, his fingers dug into her skin softly, making his breathes become pants now. One hand forced free from her waist, cupping the back of her neck with his gentle fingers. "Katia..."
Her one hand threaded through his hair, while the other clutched tightly at his shirt. She kept whispering his name, pressing her lips against his more firmly.
Kal's heart lodged in his throat, his fingers threading through her silk-like locks. He groaned her name against her lips, pressing his more firmly into hers. He slightly opened his mouth, and captured her bottom lip between his.
She kissed him with every bit of passion she had in her heart. There was no hesitation or second thoughts. Everything felt right with Kal. It was the most perfect kiss she could have ever wished for.
Kal wrapped one arm around her waist, his forearm resting on her lower back. As his other arm, cupped her cheek tenderly. He sat up on the edge of the bed, holding her lovingly against his chest, as he kissed her more passionately.
She wrapped both her arms tightly around his neck while her legs went around his waist. She was probably holding onto him a little too tightly, but she didn't care. All she cared about right now was that Kal was holding her. Kissing her. Feeling the same way.
He pulled back a few centimeters, a breath couldn't get between their lips. His dark eyes looked into hers, as his breathing calmed down a bit, surprising himself. "So... Does this mean you're staying?" He lifted half of his mouth up into a crooked grin.
She smiled at him shyly, her hand gently stroking his cheek. "For a little while." She leaned back in to kiss him again, though softer and more lingering this time.
Kal felt his heart freeze up a tad at her words. I wish she could stay... But then warmth spread through his chest once more, as her lips turned soft and lingering. He pressed his lips into hers, coiling his arms more tightly around her.
She stayed there with him for what felt like hours, just looking deeply into his beautiful eyes and smiling. She noticed it changing to a more...pinkish color. She didn't know if it was just her imagination.
He felt his eyes change to a different color, one that he hadn't felt them change to before. The essence told him that they were pink now. What the hell... Then it all hit him after a few seconds. Love. He was in love with this girl.
She definitely saw the change in his eyes now. Pink... She wondered what that color meant. She stiffened when she guessed...but she wanted to make sure. "What does that color mean, Kal..?" she whispered.
He paused for a moment, his muscles stiffening. "Uh..." He took a deep breath, and swallow the spit that felt like cotton in his mouth. "L-Love..."
Her heart stopped, and breathing was suddenly the hardest thing she could ever do. "Y-you're saying t-t-that..." She shook her head as if this was true good to be true. It is. She never expected Kalen to be in love with a weak half-breed like her.
Might as well get it out then... His thoughts went rapid after that, making his mind fog over. "I...love you, Katia." He sighed, his eyes turning deep magenta. His eyebrows drew together, as if saying that might scare her away.
His felt his eyes shifting to light blue, as his head jerked back a few inches from her face, studying her. "Well," he started. "Everything." His hushed voice was the only thing heard in the room, besides the pounding of his heart in his ears.
"I..." She rested her forehead on his and closed her eyes for a while, and made a single tear come out of her one eye. "Well, I guess there's no use denying anymore." She chuckled softly, and then opened her eyes to look at him, smiling. "I love you too, Kalen."
His heart slammed against his ribs in overdrive, making him gasp out of happiness. His eyes turned back to bright pink, a circles of yellow around his pupils. He was so happy, and so in love. It felt as if nothing could ruin this moment for him. "Thank you," he whispered. "Thank you for loving me."
She buried her face in his shoulder and held tightly onto him. Her worries and sorrows were long gone now that she was in the arms of the boy she loved. "I thought I couldn't be happy ever again, but I was wrong." Now, happiness and love were the only things she felt. "Thank you, Kalen. You made me happy again."
Kal smiled, burying his face into her hair, smelling his mother's peach scent. He groaned out of pure joy, his heart hammering against his chest nonstop. "Argh, I'm so happy!" He hugged her to him, fitting her curve against every one of his.
She giggled at the cute tone of his voice, and held onto him tighter. "I am too, Kal. God, I can't believe this is happening!" The grin on her face was wide.
He felt against his bed, making his hair blow forward and into his face. A smile a mile long was plastered on his face, it felt like it was permanent.
She rested her head on his chest and lay against him, closing her eyes with the smile still on her face. "Hell, I don't feel like hunting anymore. I just wanna snuggle with you." She giggled.
Her hands slid down his chest slowly, feeling the muscles under his shirt. She reached up to peck his jaw softly, and then tucked her head right below his chin, fitting snugly against him.
Kal sighed against her hair, kissing the top of her head. After a few moments of lying like that, a thought popped into his head that made his chest ache to think about it. "Katia..."
Kal gulped silently, his eyes clouding over as he stared at the ceiling. "If you find your mother... Are you leaving the Nevernever?"
"I..." Her face fell. She would have answered yes, but she had never planned on falling for Kal. Now she wasn't so sure. "My family... I don't....know." She shook her head a couple of times. This was a question she couldn't possibly answer. "I don't know, Kal..."
Kal sighed deeply, putting both arms behind his neck, as he rested the back of his head in his palms. "I guess we'll figure it out once it comes along..."
Katia sighed and rested her head back on his chest again, her expression worried and torn. She loved Kal, yes. But how could she leave behind her family?
Kal sighed, his eyes turning a deep blue shade. He kept running his fingers up and down her spine, as he stared at the ceiling.
He kept staring, at nothing of importance. After a few moments of silence, he yawned. "Do you want to start your journey?"
"Well, yes." She looked up at him. "I love you, Kal. But...my father and sister need me. I need to go back home to them as soon as I can." She tried to let him see the guilt and sorrow in her eyes. "You understand, right?"
