Again it looks like Talia left us, Does anyone want to buddy read Oliver Twist with Adriana?

Great Johanna!!! I was worried that the "hanging" buddy wouldn't have anyone to read these with...Glad to know you are going to stick with us too.
Are you planning on keeping the same schedule? I added it to the group calendar and wondered if I should take it off or make changes?
Seems Adriana has left us as well. Well I´ll just choose another book to read in January! :) Feel free to take this topic and delete it.

So am I. :) I´ve had for ages but I never actually started to read it, it´s nice to get things off the to read pile, especially the ones I have already!
Do you still want to start reading 16.1? And I can+t remember how long you were planning to have time to finish it?
Yeah the 16th is good for me. It was supposed to be over two weeks. 4 chapters per day I think.Is the date not good for you?

ooohhhh Oliver Twist!!! I'm tempted to join. I don't know how buddy read's work though. Can someone please explain them to me.
I guess buddu reads will work just the way you plan it yourself :) We start on the 16th and the goal is to finish in two weeks. That's all I think.

I think that I shouldn´t the whole two weeks time limit is pretty tough for me I believe :)
So if Aurelija has to finish it early maybe we can change the number of chapters we read? or change the date into an earlier time.Is it too long Johanna?
I can read long books, no problem, but I´m not a very fast reader and I only have time to read after work and on the weekends. We can try for the 24th, I´ll try to keep up but if I don´t I´ll just join in the conversation a little later :) There is one weekend between the 16th and 24th, so maybe I´ll be able to do it.
Don't change it for my sake please, do whatever suits you! I was just saying I might be a bit ahead, if I'm on time with my own schedule...

I hope for another topic for the spoiler possible material, or that everyone will start their posts with the chapter/page they are at so others don´t accidentaly read something they don´t know yet.

There are a LOT of chapters in that book. Since we're doing 4 chapters a day, then why don't we have a spoiler page for each 4 chapters. 1 a day.
That would definitely make sense and make it easy to use!

I'm super excited to be reading this soon. I almost want to read it right now!!! (Although The Night Circus is taking up a good chunk of my imagination, I can't wait to start on a classic :))
I usually read the common YA books that I love and then read the harder books. It helps.

are doing this group read right? Everyone ready to start in a couple of days? I´m trying hard to finish The Help before I start Oliver Twist and might just make it!
I JUST finished The Night Circus this morning...so i've got a bit of time to relax before Oliver Twist ... maybe get some chores done :)
How was it? I keep hearing people wanting to read it.
And by the way, has any of you read Oliver Twist before? I haven´t.
I am not actually taking part in the Buddy Read, but I've read it (I've read a lot of Dickens) and it is good. It is also one of his more fast paced and easy to get into in my opinion and a lot of the chapters are short, so you can sneak one or two in even if you don't have a lot of time.
That sounds good! The short chapters I mean. This will be my first Dickens.
