Actually... no no-no's that I can think of! I love to be shocked! I want the "Holy Crap!" moment that I have not had in a long time.... That was what I was hoping with "The Silver Devil" but did not get.
Took my last exam yesterday and I've hit the ground reading. I'm going back to an old fav of mine. Janet Dailey. I know there is a lot to be said against her and for her. I was just trying to figure out what I love about Touch the Wind and Rogue....reading for the first time The Pride of Hannah Wade. What I've decided is that I like that it not cut and dry, meaning ...there are a few guys that might work for her, but Dailey keeps me hanging. Oh and most times when They meet...true love ...at first they really don't care for each other. I'm just SAYing....
I remember "Touch The Wind" and "Rogue" they were my first Dailey books and I loved them..went on and read the Calder series too..oldies but goodies :)

I am trying to find the right "group" to post this in.... I wish there were a "Historical Psycho-Asshole Hero that you hate to love and love to hate" group...
Ok, I am have been looking for something that will grab me... Something to me make me want to read it again as soon as I finish it. However, I am not finding it. I want a hero you both fear, hate, love and want at the same time! The classic BR, right?
However, it has the crazy-insane-obsessive-pyscho-stalker hero... I want a a "courtship" along with it. One reason I loved
I used to read some the of the BRs (did not realize the classification until recently) in the 80s... after more than 10 years of not reading Romance, I have returned and totally disappointed until I read
I have read a few books released recently, and they have gone so overboard with political correctness, that I want to chunck them! That is when I realized that some of those in the 80s I read were considered BRs...
I love the concept of "Whiteny, My Love" because Clayton pursued Whitney in open... in front of everyone. Just not enough "BR" for me to consider it so...
I have starting picking up some BRs...
Basically, I am want the relationship between the H/H and to develop in front of their world and not kidnapped on a ship, island or remote part of the world.
Damn, for me being new and asking this group of ladies for recommendations... I tend to ramble. I so hope all of the above made sense for ya!
Thanks to all!
