With all of the Remakes out there

With all of the really terrible remakes over the last 10 or so years... why haven't they remade the Blind Dead series... I remember being terrified as a child by Blind Dead 3 - Ship of Zombies... I went back and watched it the other day and it was TERRIBLE, but it had some really great ideas in it. If they could just remake it into something good we could have a great zombie film to watch
