Shaya walked to the woods behind the others.
Erica glanced over at the group What a strange group she thought."How long is the walk?" She asked ingledes.
The man ducked the axe and slit a blade in anubis's chest, when he didnt crumple in pain the strange elf said to himself "OH crap, you a humunclus right?"(i know i spelled it roung)
"about fifty miles, so about three days if we make good time"
"Yeah, that's right," Anubis said. Then, lifting his hand, palm out, he shot the stranger with a bolt of lightning.
"Wipe your nose, elf, and go back home to your mother."
With that, Anubis turned and quikly strode off and out of sight, heading towards the group.

"there's something behind us" inglades murmured, "but we have no time to investigate. we have to move quickly"
Anubis broke out into a run. He had to reach them quikly. He didn't want to waste any more tiem if they were the wrong ones.
Xapneir had watched all that had happened. Walking over to the fallen man, he nudged him with his toe. Upon deciding that the man wasn't dead, he began attempting to wake him up. He would have useful information about what was going on.
The elf stood up with a start and promply kicked the man where it hurts. "OH sorry i thought you were the houmuclus" Then noticeing that Anubis had ran of you took of after him. "Bloody bastard used magic, thats not very nice"
inglades whipped out his sword, spinning it in an arc over his head, and running between this new threat and his more vulnerable companions(( can we have a less combat heavy game for a while? if we get to waymeet, i have some cool tricks for that scene ;) ))
The elf finnaly cuaght up to him and tackles Anubis and pulled the blade up under his chin "Now are you going to tell me who you work for or am i gonna chop of your head?"
Pine growled as the Humonculus((sorry, I'm not the best speller)) came up and let out a yowl. Then she jumped back and took a dagger out of her belt.
"Oh sorry about barging into your camp fire, I just found this..this THING watching you"
"who are you?" inglades demanded, putting a hand on pine's shoulder to keep her from charging
Pine stepped away from Inglades, ready to charge, as four huge wolves swarmed up beside her.
"Whoa there dont be to haisty" Before he said more he flipped the humoclus on its back and kepts his bow draw towards its head "Im not much for names so call me whatever you want but i am a friend"
"i care not for this buisness! as we speak here, my brother knights go unavenged! i seek only to rid the world of this evil that slew my comrades!" (noah, you can't just kill someone like that)

The wolves growled and crept forwards to the Humonculus. Pine put her hand on the back of one and they stopped moving, but they still stood with the fur on the back of their necks on end
Shaya stood frozen. Abushing wasnt her most favorite memory. "Leave us be and we wont hurt you."
Erica stared around the clearing in horror "What is going on?"

Pine narrowed her eyes. "Why should we tell you who we are if you wont tell us who you are?" The wolves growled again, but softer, it was becoming more obvious that this wasn't an immediate threat.
"Whoa!" Creied The elf as he fell while Anubis stood up. "This really isnt what i wanted. I wanted to come in here all cool like from the shadows"
Erica took a hesitent step towards theAnubis.She lightly touched his arm.
"I wouldnt get that close if i were you. He can use magic"The elf was oubvusly ticked that he used magic

Groaning in pain, Xapneir yelled at the man, "Whadda heck was that for?" Realizing that the sound would attract attention, he slunk off into the woods in search of a less-dangerous place to have a seat.
When Erica touched Anubis he said nothing, but tensed slightly. The stered at her for a moment, then said to Pine, "I am Anubis. Who are you?"
Anubis laughed at Inglades. It was a deep, rumling laugh. "Why would you have any reason not to trust me?"
Tierd of the games Shaya let a gyser up inches from were Anubis stood. "Ambushing isnt a very polite thing to do and can quickly lead to a death wich gives you many, many enemys." Shaya hissed. "So I have plenty of reasons not to trust you."
"Do you not trust me?" Said the elf as he got up. "Oh and the reson i have been following you was i wanted to join your group"
Anubis cocked his head. "If you let him join, wouldn't it be unfair to deny me the same right?"
Erica was too busy staring at the elf. "Do I know you?" She asked ((can they know each other?))
Pine narrowed her eye at Anubis as the geyser went down. He had told her his name, so she owed him the same. "I'm Pine." She said, stretching out a hand to Anubus as the wolves growled thretiningly.
Anubis kept an emotionless, but not menicing, face as he took Pine's hand and shook it. His eyes never left hers, and with out saying a thing he dropped his hand again.
"You seem very powerful Pine. I'd be a fool to cross you.""

"Erica is that you?" The elf said shocked "I had no idea you would be here!"
Pines eyes narrowed as she saw something flash on the humunculus's shoulder "Yes. I feel the same way about you" She muttered distractedly. Trying to be as non-chilant as possible, she said "Hey, what's that on your shoulder? A tatto? That's pretty cool."
"i really must be off... there is evil there that should not be suffered to live"
"You can stay a couple of minutes more sword guy"
Pine raised her eyebrow and let out a chuckle as the human was referd to as 'the sword guy.' but other then that she didn't move, she stayed still, staring at the humunculs, there was something going on here, and she wanted an answer.

'Oh great," he thought. 'I came all this way and now HE'S letting them go.'
Anubis wanted to just forget the stranger and leave, but he wasn't sure how strong the man was. He didn't want to die before he carried out his mission.
But hey, the missions the most important thing, right?
