inglades stood up, the early morning light glittering on the statue of his brother. he walked aimlessly into the woods, hoping that the strange elf wasn't following him.(where's the story going?)
((hmm... idk. i am kinda waiting for jordan to come back on...))
Scorch pounded against her bed, wanting to leave.

Erica's mind was all mixed up. She was washing her face by the river. She had a brother. She couldn't believe her parents had never told her. She was also very worried about the deamon lord. What if the others were in danger. She returned to the camp. She glanced at her brother. "Grayndon?" "Yes?" He said looking at her.
"Why did you not come back?"
"I Was afraid our parents wouldn't love me anymore."
"Oh. Will you come with me to rescue my friends?"
He looked relieved. "Of course."
The next morning they packed camp. They headed back the way she had come the night before. They were searching for the others.
The next morning, Sindelian woke up and walked into the room of Du Varden. "It is time to get up. We must decide on our next course of action."
Shaya ran through the trees she was confused tierd hungry and scared. All emotions that she hated to feel.
inglades walked past a small pond, a deer on the far side of it. it lifted it's head in alarm, but didn't run. "calm, friend." inglades said in what elvish he knew "i wish you no ill" as he walked over, stroking the deer's coat
Scorch ran out of the room, sprinting past him. She ran out of the tower, searching for Inglades.
inglades knew, somehow, that he was being looked for. he didn't know who wanted to find him, but he had to be prepared. he drew his iron sword, and gripping his war horn (i'm only stealing some of boromir's concept)
(kk! hehe)
Scorch stopped, listening. Her sensitive ears picked up most movement, and she could hear Inglades not far. She began running as fast as she possibly could towards him.

inglades noticed the deer run from the clearing. he jumped in surprise as he saw scorch enter the clearing
"hello, scorch" he said, lowering his sword. "i'm sorry about your cold welcome, but you never know who or what's around"
"yes you can." ingaldes said with resolve "you must. the fate of the world may well rest in your hands"
"there were many things i thought i could never do too..." inglades said wistfully "like taking a life. the first time i had to, i felt sick, i wanted to take my life! but now i have to kill with alarming regularity. i will do what i have to save solamnia"
Scorch hurled herself at him, slamming her body into his. Tears of pain and rage slid down her cheeks as she hit him.
Scorch bared her teeth. "You don't understand!" she howled. "You pretend to, but you will never, I repeat never feel the same things I do!"
"that may be true, but at least i try!" ingades said, rising to his feet "at least i try to help you!"
Scorch grabbed one of her daggers, throwing it with deadly precision. It sliced off a branch and went neatly through a hole in the tree into another where it killed a squirrel. "Please..."
"what would you have of me?" inglades demanded "for my entire life i have striven to do my utmost in service of the land and it's people! do you think i know nothing of duties i didn't want to have to carry through?"
Erica heard raised voices. "This way. " She said leading her brother into the clearing. She stopped dead. It was scorch and inglades. "Thank goodness!" She said hugging scorch. Then she noticed her tears. "What's wrong?"
"scorch is having morale difficulties. perhaps you can be of assistance?" inglades suggested, stepping over to erica
Shaya stopped. She heard a shout. Catously she turned towards the sound she was in a strange place and had no idea what inhabbited it.
Shay spun around hte hte voice. "Who are you?" She said in the strongest voice she could muster at hte moment.
"I am Shaya Princess of The Water Kingdom of Ertrar." Shaya said facing the sorceress.
"I do control water." Shaya said smiling, she raised her hands, "Would you like a demonstration?"
"Who said I was mortal?" Shaya said her eyes glinting. She rose her hands sharply and a gyser rose a little to the Left of Blakiri.
"Hmm," Shaya grinned wickedly, "North Sea!" She pulled her hands towards her and a wall of swearved through the trees to her in a long thick stream of water.
Shaya shot her palms out and a wall of water formed.
"If you dont mind me asking," Shaya said lightly, "What are you doing here?"
"If you dont mind me asking," Shaya said lightly, "What are you doing here?"
inglades stepped back from scorch's anger, his muscles taut, ready to spring into action. "please, friend. calm yourself. i meant no offense"
inglades sighed in a mixture of relief and exasperation, leaning against a tree for support. he had slept a full night, but he was already weary
Scorch searched his face, looking for something. "You are very mysterious. No matter how many scraps of information I try to get about you, it never seems to... fit."
Scorch shrugged. "Wasn't a compliment. Just a fact." She chuckled. "A rather annoying one though."
"in the last few years i've had to learn to give as little information as possible" he said with a shrug
"it's probably nothing, but until you prove yourself to me, i can't trust you. or shaya, or eragon, or anyone."
