"Do you remember anything after you were stabbed?" She blushed.
"Nevermind." She mumbled.
"What the heack is happening?" Shaya asked.
The next morning, Sindelian woke to find Scorch still asleep. Treading carefully,(and rolling a natural 20 on his 'move silently' check)so as to not wake Scorch, he went upstairs to see Du Ebrithil. "Master, What shall we do with Du Varden?", said Sindelian. "We must train her as quickley as possible so that we can be ready at any time to counter Du Anglat.", said Du Ebrithil. "But Master, do you really think she is ready for the training and tests?", said Sindelian. "I think, that she is ready. Even if she dosen't know it yet." The words seemed to covey a deep sadness that made Sindelian worry for Du Varden. It was as if Du Ebrithil was assuming that Scorch was ready to throwherself into this wholeheartedly, with no care for her own well being. For if you failed the Trials, the punishment was death. "Master, may I have permission to commence her training?", Sindelian almost whispered. "Yes, my pupil. The time is now. let her training begin at once!" By the end of this speech, Du Ebrithil had seemed to come alive. "Yes Master! I will go fetch her at once. What shall we start out with?", Sindelian asked exitedly. "Begin with simple Telekinesis. Report back to me at the end of the day.", Du Ebrithil said. "Yes Master!" Then Sindelian bowed quickley and walked swifty away. Du Ebrithil watched him go and wished he was allowed the pleasure of teaching a pupil directly. Sindelian was extatic. All his life, he had dreamed of becoming the teacher of Du Varden. Now his dreams were finally coming true! He jumped up the last 5 steps and entered the sanctum of Du Varden. And there was Scorch, asleep on the bed even a this late hour of 6:00. With a flick of his wrist, the shades covering the windows shot upward, allowing light to enter the room. Then he whispered "thrysta" and the large blankets covering Scorch leapt off the bed. "All right, my pupil, it is time to wake up".
Sindelian planted himself in a wide, assertive stance and waited for Scorch to wake up. The process took about 2 seconds after Sindelian said,"Adurna!" and copious amounts of ice-cold water jetted out of his hand and soaked Scorch. Then, once he was sure she was awake, he dried her off with a simple spell and gave her new set of robes, clearly marked with a gold and silver compass rose. "Here. These are what you will wear from now on. You will be up and dressed by 6:00 every morning, and by 6:30 you will be downstairs recieving breakfast in the dining hall. Am I clear?"
Scorch held up her arms. "What are you doing to me? What are these clothes? Where are we going?!"
"It is time to begin your training!"
"Do you not remember? You are Du Varden! The Warden, as it is in the common language. We are The Order of the Morning Star. It is our ob to assist you in you training and to help you to rid our land of all evil." Sindelian looked a little impatient. "I am sorry Milady, but we must begin your training today. If you will follow me, I will begin your lesson."
Sindelian noticed her discomfort and said,"Milady, I mean you no disrespect but I was just following my duties. If there is something I coulddo differently, please, do not hesitate to le me know, and I will try to do whtever I can."
Sindelian appeared to hesitate for a moment. "Milady, you do not have to do this if you don't want to. Du Ebrithil seems to think that you have no choice in the matter. But know this, I will stand by you even if you choose not to follow the path of Du Varden. I will hold nothing against you if you decide against it. The Order want to help you, not alienate you so please tell me what I can do to help."
"Alright then, follow me!" Sindelian then led Scorch down several flights of stairs to a large atrium where many people were eating breakfast. "This, as you may have guessed, is the Dining hall. Here is where you shall recieve your nourishment. Now you must go and eat. Do not eat sparingly, for you sall need all of your energy for today's lesson." With that, Sindelian gave Scorch a little nudge towards the tables before whispering in her ear,"Whatever you do, don't hold back. These people all love you and are willing to serve you so just socialize with them a little. I will be back for you after the meal". Then with a quiet crack, Sindelian vanished into thin air.

As Inglades was talking, there was a small crack behind him, and Sindelian appeared. "Sir Inglades. I am Sindelian. We have met before. I have been ordered to tell you to not attempt to go after Du Anglat. The Order of the Morning Star has the situation well in hand. We appreaciate wand welcome the help of the Knights of Solamnia, but this is an affair of magic. You remember Scorch? Yes, she is Du Varden. She is an incredibly powerful magician. She is prophisised as the savior of this land from the forces of Du Anglat, or as you may know him, The Demon Lord. If you will come with me, I can promise food and shelter aplenty, as well as saftey from the darkness of this land. The Tower of High Sorcery is a safe refuge. Will you come now?"

With a delighted look on his face, Sindelian bowed gracefully and said,"Excellent." Then, he grabbed them both by the hand, and instructed them to do the same. The with a whoosh and a small crack, they were inside the Tower of High Sorcery. "I imagine you must be very hungry after your stay in The Drak Tower. So we have taken it upon ourselves, to give you a place to stay as well as food and drink aplenty. Please do not hold back. There is no need to stand on ceremony, nor call to impress. After you have finished eating, I will show you to your rooms." Then with a crack, he dissapeared.
With a crack, Sindelian appeared by Scorch's side. "Greetings, Du Varden. How is your meal?"
"Excellent. Will you come with me? I have to bring you back to your room, I have a suprise for you."
"Excellent. It is not ready just yet, but it will be soon." Then he grabbed her hand and teleported in front of the door.
Then Sindelian whispered the code-word;Aiedail, and the door swung open. "Now wait here, and I will return very soon." Then he spun on his heel, and walked out of the door, closing it behind him. Then, He made his way downstairs to fetch Inglades. He found them in the dining hall where he had left them. "Sir Inglades. Come with me. I am going to bring you to Lady Scorch now". Then he led them both up the stairs to the door to The Sanctum of Du Varden. "Aiedail", He whispered, and the door swung open, addmitting them. Sindelian then stepped back to allow Inglades to walk through first, followed by Erica.
Sindelian walked quietly into the room, closing the door behind them and slipping into the corner to watch with a half-smile.
Scorch frowned, looking up. "I was locked in a cell. Wouldn't go with him so he knocked me unconscious."
"I'm sorry Erica. You cannot leave yet. The Secret of the Order must be preserved. We will give you accomadations and food aplenty, but you cannot leave this facility."
"I just told you.", He said patiently.

"What?", whispered Sindelian.
Scorch didn't answer. Instead, she swiveled her head around, her pointy ears moving. Suddenly, she lunged forwards tackling Sindelian.
