Pine glared at the ground, frustration filling her, would be ever learn how to not let people down? She sighed and pushed the thought out of her mind. She went from person to person, making sure they were up. "Lets have some breakfast and then go." Pine slipped into the forest to find some berries or something.
inglades produced several pieces of hardtack and tossed one to everyone
Pine picked a couple of berries, still cursing herself, and ate them, she was surprisingly not very hungry considering she hadn't eaten for over a day. She finished eating her berries and went back to camp. "Lets go" She said, trying to keep the anger at herself out of her voice.
Anubis gave Inglades back the hardtack. "I don't need it."
He then walked over to Pine.

Pine smiled at Anubis, she was starting to feel that he was the only one she could trust. She knew it was stupid because he would turn on her in an instance if his tattoo got changed, but she shared his thoughts. She hated looked at other peoples faces and not being able to see what was going on inside their head.
Shaya had barely slept when the sun just started to peak over the mountains she took off. She had no idea where she was headed maby home mabye she didnt know. She ran hard and fast. The trees held memories for her, tears threatend to pour.

Pine nodded, watching Shaya distractedly. Then she turned and sighed. "Yes, let's go. How much longer do you think until we arrive?"
Shaya reached the northern river. She stopped and rested, there was a huge clearing streaching over for a ways. The water was flowing fast.
"Calm." Shaya rais her hand the water stoped moving, fishes that swam kept moving without having to fight the water. Slowly Shaya steped up onto the water, she sank a little ways into the water, she felt so powerfull when ever she did this.

Pine turned and trudged down the path. She had had probably the worse day of her life yesterday, and now the horror was continuing. She wanted to disappear, create a new life for herself. Again. She sighed and just kept walking, listening to the others behind her. When were they going to arrive? Once they had defeated this daemon she could leave these people and never see them again. But until then she wasn't going to abandon her responsibility.
Anubis sensed Pine was troubled. It was bothering him.
"Are you... um...," he felt awkward being 'caring' towards Pine, but he had to. "Are you ok?"

Pine turned to Anubis and smiled wanly. "Yeah." She said "I'm just not used to group environments." She paused for a moment and then added. "What about you? It must be horrible to be trusted so little."
Anubis shrugged. "This is the way its always been."
Shaya was half way across the river, but somthing didnt seem wright. She didnt knw which direction the vibe was coming from, she looked down the fish had dissapeared. The water then began to get out of control, speeding up.
Pine looked over at Anubis, and she was feeling bad for herself! Anubis had to deal with just being a slave all his life! "What would happen if you didn't have any tattoo?" She asked. "Would you be free?"
Anubis shrugged. "There are homonoculus you have free will, btu they have been free all there lives. I have never been free, so I wouldn't know how."
Pine stopped and turned to look at Anubis. "What if someone taught you how." She paused. "Hypothetically of course..."
Anubis cocked his head. "Its probably too late... but if not, then hypothetically, yes. But they'd probably have to be a sorcereer to teach me anything like that."

Pine nodded and tuned to keep walking, her mind was working frantically, but she was trying to stop it, it was stupid. Anubis was right, it was probably to late. And where would they find a sorcerer anyways?

The elf got up grumbleing, then he let out a cry of anguish "Oh my god its got me foot!" He ran around the camp wish a snake attached to his foot trying to get it off.
Pine looked back and chuckled at the snake, it wasn't a poisonous one. Pine watched for a moment, not laughing out right. Then she got a hold of herself and decided it was up to her to do something. She let out a hiss, the snake detached itself and went to Pine wrapping itself lightly around her neck.
"WHY DIDNT YOU DO THAT SOONER!" The elf walked over to pine stared at her menaceingly and went to pick up his bedroll
Pine laughed and stroked the snake. "I'm sorry." She said, trying to contain her laughter. "How can one not laugh when there is a full grown elf screaming like a little child at a harmless brown snake?"
"Elves have very sensitive feet! How do you we can walk on snow without leaving a print?"
Pine shrugged and said. "And they are also renowned for their dignity."
"Yeah well, you can cramm it okay? What if a needle prick felt like and arrow on your feet, and then you get biten by a snake. How do you think that would feel?" After picking up his bed roll, as he past he tripped pine "oops"
Pine smirked. "Okay, oh graceful elf." She took the snake from her shoulders and put it around Eragon's shoulders. "Hold him for a while. It'll be your way of apologizing for scaring him."
"Hehehe oh did i scare da wittle bittle snakey wakey, oooh im sorry" With that he pulled and arrow rapped the snake around it and shot it into the woods "Bet he's just as scared as i was now"
Pine narrowed her eyes but said nothing. She let out a long breath, but kept walking. She stopped, however, when a giant bear leaped out of the trees and knocked over Eragon, then ran away, back into the forest. "Hmm." Pine said. "That was weird."
Eragon spurted some curse words and tackled pine slamming her to the ground, ignoreing anubis walking towards him "You listen to me i could kill anubis and you whenever i want so i would be less cocky got it?"
Pine raised her eye brows. "Oh, could you?" She took out her dagger and held it to Eragons throat. "I could kill you right now, and you think you can beat a Humuculus, who's whole destiny is almost always to defeat their masters enemies. There's a reason for that you know."
"HAHAHAHA that pety dagger means nothing to me" He then blasted anubis with just pure force of his will, witch was enough to send him flying, as for pine and the dagger. The dagger was somehow in eragons hand "Ill take that" He got up off her and walked of to shaya.
Pine watched him go, a smirk on her face. She turned and kept walking. Glad Eragon was gone. They could do with one less of the stereotypical arrogant elves that always seemed to show up whenever there were elves about.
"Stupid pine stupid snake ugh......now i can complete my mission" He grumbled to himself "Guses i just have to suck it up and say im sorry and all that"
Pine kept walking. She looked back to make sure that Anubis was following. She could feel that he was in her mind, but she wanted to make sure.
The elf rann up behind pine "Im sorry pine i acted like a baby. i guese its just that elves really really dont like being luaghed at" He held out the dagger "I am very sorry"
Pine took the dagger and shrugged. "We bother over reacted." She was slightly glad that Eragon was back, it would make for a more interesting journey.
"Thank you for forgiveing me pine" (The elf is cringeing that hole time he's saying this) He then blushed and ran over to inglades to talke.
Anubis raised his brow. He had no eye brows but the effect was made. "What the hell was that?," Anubis said to Pine.
Pine shook her head. "I suppose it was somewhat of a power struggle, huh?" She shook her head a second time and resolved to not get into another fight.
"Dont you ppl be talking about me behind my back!" Shouted the elf.
Pine laughed. "Don't worry Eragon" she called. "We wouldn't Drreeaammmm of messing with you." She sighed, she didn't know elves could be so much like humans, she almost felt like her whole race had been insulted.
"Oh and stopp thinking that i insulted our hole race" He waved a hand at her protests of him listening to her mind "Oh do be quite i have had enough and i can be like an elf when i want im just trying to fit in"
Anubis shook his head. Elves we're so annoying. "Shouldn't we get going?", He finally said.
