"Zane. There's somehting in the woods. I'm going to investigate." Kari said.

"Let me come too," He said and raced into the forest after Kari.

Ryan looked around, "There are more of you coming." he changed back into wolf form. What do we do now?

Scarlet raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"

Rain slowly moved away a bad feeling filling her, she quickly turned on her heel and moved gracefully to her class. Trying to comprehend what was going through her mind she barely paid attention to what the teacher said.

Kari raced through the forest when she suddenly smelled werewolves. She quickly ran on. "zane. Werewolves." She warned. "And another vampire." She abruptly ran into the open and almost collided with Scarlet. In an instant she had backed up and was crouching, aware of any danger.

Zane looked out on the scene. A vampire and werewolves.
"Ok, lets not make a scene here ok? What is going on?"

Kari nodded and went over to Scarlet. "You new?" She asked quietly.

Ryan started to freak out. Why are there so many vampires here?!?!! He ran back behind the bushes and changed back into a wolf.

"Get out here, dog." Kari said when she saw Ryan run behind the bushes.

Ryan growled at the vampire.

"Come on now, they have as much right to be here as we do," Zane said.

"I never said anything against them. He is a dog right now." Kali replied back.

Scarlet backed up slightly. "Uh..."

"I'm really, totally, confused," Scarlet said, still shocked by the new sound of her voice.

Kali ignored Ryan and turned back to Scarlet. "It's alright. I guessed you were. I'm Kali." She held out her hand.

"Zane," he said and gave a little wave. "And, um, do you know what you are?"

Scarlet tentatively shook it. "I'm Scarlet, and, uh, I'm confused."

"Well, what is the last thing you remember?"

"Uh, standing here a few seconds ago being really confused? Or do you mean before the pain?" she winced just thinking about it.

Kali nodded. "How long ago was the pain?"

"I don't remember," Scarlet said honestly. "48 hours?"

"Two days..." Kali mused.

((Yeah. The pain was three days, and it's been gone for 48 hours. So, five days since she got bitten))

Addison watched in her wolf form from behind a tree, ready to attack if they made any move toward Ryan.

"Um, I'm a human?" said Scarlet, but it ended up sounding like a question.

Zane shook his head, "Not any more."

"Huh?" Scarlet was really confused.

Kali looked at Zane. "Do you want to explain, or should I? Oh, and there is another here."

"Well, you've been changed, into something different, well you might have realized that already but um, you are, kinda, well, you, are, a vampire." Zane stuttered out.

"Yes. You are a vampire. And with that comes a few things." Kali took over for Zane. She had no problem discussing what happened. "Your voice, appearance, everything changes. You have venom, and, in case you haven't noticed already, you drink blood. Right now your eyes are red, but they will turn gold. If, that is, you decide to be 'vegetarian'."

"Wow," she said, in shock. "Vegetarian? What, do I drink the sap from trees or something instead?"

Kali laughed. "No. You drink animal blood rather than human. It is hard at first, but it gets easier. In the mean time, I hope you don't mind a few people keeping an eye on you. By the way, how old are you?"

"13," she said. "Why? And, animal blood?! I couldn't do that! I have tons and tons of pets! Which reminds me, I need to go home. They haven't had food or water in days, the poor things!" She turned to start going home. She then stopped, and turned back. "Uh, where am I?"

Kali's face went grave. "You cannot return home. Not for a long while. I am sorry."

"Why?" Scarlet asked. "I mean, I'm fine. It's not contagious, is it? How old are you, anyway?"

"The temptation is too strong. You will have to be very careful now. And I am 16. Do you know if you have any...special abilities?"

"Temptation? Special abilities? Well, I play flute pretty well, and I do ballet, and-" She stopped, frowning. "That's not what you meant by special abilities, huh."

Kali shook her head. "I mean more like this." She tapped into Scarlet's mind and erased both sight and smell of herself.

Kari laughed and let herself 'come back'. "Careful not to weird her out."
