OK I keep hearing about Pillars, and so I will have to read it but I tried the first few pages on amazon.com and it looked to be about a building and it was like 11th or 12th century. So I put those 2 together and came up with: boring and didn't go any further.
Guess I have to rethink this?
Anyway. Welcome Barbara, and don't worry you won't fall thru the cracks. If you start to, let one of us know, we'll grab you up and you can crowd surf awhile.
Cheers!

Yes this is at large group but we are always checking the various threads with the "new" messages to see what we can jump in and comment on.
It's lots and lots of fun!
Problem is, we are spending too much time on here and not enough reading!
Barbara...
The only way you will lost in the shuffle is if you want to. We are a large group, but always manage to make room for the newbies!
Thanks for joining. I too ask myself quite frequently what is wrong with the non-readers!!

Fiona...I think it might still be a secret between the people of this group...
You'll like it here. Welcome to the group.

Be welcome, Barbara! I liked reading "The Pillars of the Earth".
I just got done today reading "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. I wrote a review if you want to read it. Read on and I hope to get to know some of you.
