Would Water for Elephants work for option A?The story is told by 90-years old man. Part of the book is taking place at the present time and part of the book in the past.

Sorry, but the main focus of the book is what happened during the narrator's youth so it won't work.
I'm about 80 pages into Geek Love and there are conjoined twins in this very odd family. Will it count for the twins option?
Karen GHHS wrote: "I'm about 80 pages into Geek Love and there are conjoined twins in this very odd family. Will it count for the twins option?"Siamese twins will work.
Geek Love is one of the more memorable books I ever read. I can't say I loved it, but it certainly has stayed with me a long time.
Donna Jo wrote: "Geek Love is one of the more memorable books I ever read. I can't say I loved it, but it certainly has stayed with me a long time."I just finished it this morning and I agree. I'm sure it's a book I won't forget and the twins turned out to play a big role in the book.
I just read Geek Love with my face to face book group a couple of months ago--and then gave it to my brother for Christmas-I had to give him a couple of disclaimers as in "Don't make any judgments about me based on my selection of this book." I enjoyed it a lot, and it made great discussions--not a book I will quickly forget.
Can I use the first option with The Forgotten Gardensince it revolves around the main character's grandmother?

Good to know. I've had that one on my TBR shelf for a very long time. Now I'm really looking forward to reading it!
Cathy wrote: "Can I use the first option with The Forgotten Gardensince it revolves around the main character's grandmother?"Yes, that will work.
I found A Murder Is Announced on a Listopia List on books about twins. Would that work for this challenge?
Sarah wrote: "I found A Murder Is Announced on a Listopia List on books about twins. Would that work for this challenge?"Unfortunately, I haven't read it and I can't find any references to twins in the plot descriptions I've read. So, unless someone has read it and can tell us otherwise, I'd have to say that it won't work.

Thanks Kristi. I have found reference to twins IN the book (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Murder...), called Pip and Emma, but they don't seem to be protagonists in the book. Would the same book, or any other Ms Marple work for the "Senior Citizen" option though?
Sarah wrote: " Would the same book, or any other Ms Marple work for the "Senior Citizen" option though?"Ah, I see. The twin thing is a little shaky but you're right, any of the Ms Marple books will work for the senior citizen option. So it'll work for that one.
If anyone is looking for a book for A, I highly recommend All Passion Spent, which is about an 88-year-old wife of an ex-Prime Minister, who discovers herself after her husband's death. It's a really lovely book on ageing. I am using it for another task though.
I'm thinking about The Joy Luck Club for A. senior citizens. I haven't read the book yet but from the backcover, it says that it is centered on a group of elderly Chinese women living in America.

Their mahjong group had been meeting for 40 years or so, I believe, so it should work for A. If you can work out their ages as you read, it would be helpful to include that information when you post the completed task. Thanks!
Another good one for senior citizens is Am I Old Yet?: The Story of Two Women, Generations Apart, Growing Up and Growing Young in a Timeless Friendship.

Yes, it'll work for twins. And, yes, you can read plays as long as you meet the 100+ page rule (which this one does - but if it didn't, you could read 2 plays to add up to 100+ pages if you want to). Enjoy!
