Stepheny My favorite is The Order of the Pheonix. I loved this one! I really enjoyed how J.K Rowling captured the emotional turmoil that most adolescents are feeling on a regular basis and incorporated that with the fact that Harry is being completely ostrasized by everyone- even Dumbledore is keeping him out of the loop. I think it was when the series really developed the most in terms of the underlying theme. Harry felt alone and confused through most of the book and yet was still able to lead the D.A. in spite of the constant threats to expell him. I think the charecters all really developed into these wonderful young adults that we could all relate too and empathize with.

Lord Voldemort Goblet of fire because that's when everything started to get serious. It's the first book that makes HArr Potter grow up! He understands what's at stake and so does the reader. Also the first death occurs and the it is the first book which has an emotional side to HP. that's when you are gripped.

The fourth book FTW!

Callie Difficult, because I LOVE them all, but have to go with Half- Blood Prince. This is mainly because of the start of the whole horcrux saga. I like that we learn a lot about Voldemort's family, and his past, and why he chooses the items as horcruxes. Also, I liked the whole mystery of who the half- blood prince was (I say 'mystery', but I suspected it was Snape lol).

Sarah Hill I love the entire series however I would also agree with The Order of the Phoenix as to me the events in this book are the point where the series turned from being a more magical school orientated theme to a good v evil war! More suspense in books 5-7, however in saying this I still love the earlier ones! Just re-read The Prisoner of Azkaban for the 4th time haha!

chinami My favorites are deathly hallows, order of phoenix and half blood prince.

Deathly hallows definitely. It was such a great way to conclude a phenomenal series with the final battle and all. It really touched my emotions the most out of all the books because i had to read all of my favorite people dying especially fred and dobby. Just amazing!

Storm Half Blood Prince is my favorite, I thought it was so interesting to learn about Tom Riddle and have all of the flashbacks.

I totally adore Tom Riddle.

Stepheny The HBP was definately well written and it is fascinating to learn of his troubled past. It makes him seem like such a broken soul that you almost start to sympathize with him. It is my second favorite in the series!!

I'm not really sure, I haven't finished the fifth book because I had to give the library back the book, and I am going to reread them in english, but I guess I say Goblet of fire, because it was a really exciting and so on, I don't remember everything in detail.

Allie Deathly Hallows because it had the most action and duh it was the conclusion it had to be good!!!! I just love 19 years later so cute!

Andrew Jones Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite. While I love the end of Order of the Phoenix, book 3 simply opened up the world brilliantly and was able to do so without Voldemort. It also showed Rowling's brilliance overall as Sirius Black came to the forefront - who was mentioned in the first chapter of the first book. Book 3 made me want to keep reading like none of the others.

Hillary The last chapters of Deathly Hallows are my favorite of the entire series. I also love Order of the Phoenix because that is when the series starts to get really dark and I love the DA parts. And third, Prisoner of Azkaban because you learn about the Marauders and the HUGE twist at the ending.

Mahesh Chamber of secrets....because that was the first ever English novel i ever read...and because of that book i started reading HP series..!!
Halfblood prince is my next fav one...!!
thats where HP got to know about himself more clearly..!! and he got to know Voldy more clearly..!
