Eva Is it just me or does the Twilight series seem just a little off? I mean beginning with the way Edward treats Bella(abusive)to Bella's constant whining to her pathological inability to decide if she wants Jacob or Edward and then makes it look like shes making a big sacrifice by choosing to her getting pregnant(HELLO!!!) and then Jacob imprinting on Bella and Edwards daughter(does incest come to anyones mind) I mean come on!
Not to mention the language and gramatical errors...

I agree with you!

Eva Oh! thank god. I thought I was the only one, everybody i talk to sings odes to the series but i think it sends a very bad message to teenagers. "This is what a passionate and romantic relationship should be" but thats not what a relationship is; It has good and bad maybe neurotic sometimes but DEFINITELY not psychotic stalkers!!!

Nikki Agreeing with everything here! Not even touching on the quality of the writing, is this really something someone would want their teenagers reading and thinking it's a normal relationship? It almost sets them up for accepting an abusive relationship as not only the norm, but also a desired one. It's a little frightening to me.

Eva I'd rather a dull boring relationship to the kind of relatioship mentioned in the series. If that is what Stephanie Meyer thinks passion is...I just sorry for her

Nikki Ana wrote: "well i dont know if i count for a teenager yet cuz i am only 11 but i think its just an invented story and us children or teenagers dont do whaever is written in a book. i really liked the series:)"

You definitely count! :) The thing I'm worried about, honestly, Ana, is that there are young men and women (mostly likely women, but who knows,) who will take the relationships in this story, especially that of Bella and Edward (and possibly Jacob,) and consider it an example of what relationships should be like. This is an issue because all of these relationships lean heavily towards emotionally, if not borderline physically, abusive relationships. If these tweens and teens have a parent or mentor in their life who can explain to them why this isn't an ideal relationship and what is wrong with it then I wouldn't be so worried. However, there are several young men and women who don't have that kind of support in their lives.

Eva I'm sorry, but is it that u dont understand...I'll try and explain anything if i can.
U've made me very happy Anna to know that there are true innocents left that dont take things for granted and dont do(or not do) things just because a popular book or movie says its cool.
